I'm not taking it seriously, I'm just talking about it for the sake of video engagement, I like this creators content and thus I comment on his video, it's not like I'm hurting the game I'm just trying to engage in conversation about a mechanic I find strange, I mean it kinda makes sense but it also doesn't, because if the cops are competent enough to look for prints, they would also know you have to open a chest to see what's in it, he said it himself it's impossible to achieve an s rank as this game is in development, it's very possible they may remove the mechanic in the future, I'm giving my input on a game that isn't finished yet, on a feature I as a player may find to be unnecessary or strange under the context of the circumstances and could possibly complicate the gameplay in a way that doesn't make a ton of sense Edit: besides why would they dust for prints anyways they haven't found anything, they can't just launch an investigation and fingerprint dust your house for no reason, and if they don't find the body then I don't see why they would be looking for prints to begin with. It would make more sense if your wiping clean actual evidence to the crime like your prints off the body, or a weapon or anything else, I could imagine them having it so you could choose to either hide or clean the weapon as well if they went that direction, just because you touched a diving helmet and have your prints on it even though it's totally unrelated to what your doing really shouldn't affect your score, I mean he almost missed the prints on the leg of the chair, imagine if he hadn't seen that but otherwise had a perfect score? That may be frustrating to someone attempting a perfect run.

From what I understand the prints, evidence and such simply add to your grading score at the end, not as a way for the cops to catch you.
