So happy to have happened upon your channel, Erin! I've about binge watched all of your videos! You are extremely skilled. I also love cedar and love seeing your ideas. I will be moving in early June and I can't wait to try some of your ideas! I'm moving into a duplex that was built in 1937. I will be occupying the downstairs unit. It has a sun room off of the DR. I'd love to build a slimmer version of the outdoor dining table you made to use as a work bench/gardening table and add a shelf or two underneath for storage. I will have a perfect little fenced in yard for my dog to play around while I'm working outside. Both outdoor AC units occupy space in my little yard and are completely exposed. I'd like to use a slight variation of your beautiful outdoor bin privacy fence to make a "U" shaped privacy fence around these units to keep my dog safe from curiosity seeking and make my outdoor deck space more attractive and less noisy. I can buy pre-fabed sections like this from major hardware stores, and they aren't terribly expensive, and they are attractive in the online pictures. In your opinion, are these pre-fabed panels worth it? I'd like them to last several years, with little maintenance. Thank you for sharing your amazing work and ideas!
Amazing lady! I expected dry pour concrete for this project which doesn't need a large mixer from Homedepot. I hope you can show some dry pour concrete slabs later.
Oh how I wish my soil was this soft. We have clay soil which turns to concrete when dry and the absolute worst kind of mud when wet. It's an absolute nightmare!
I have an exact place like this ! My next door neighbor was overrun w huge azalea bushes ( I have 4 dogs ) and am terrified of snakes - so I had this all cut down - unfortunately I can rlll the used poison after cutting ( it’s all that awful brown ) I have 2 huge trash bins that are sadly propped up w bricks ! I really want that side of my house to look ok
This is amazing and you're even more amazing for doing it. I got to find another method though. Too much for me. I will subscribe though because you may have more handier things I could accomplish on my own. Much success to you on your Channel.
You can get solar powered post cap lights that are simple to install. They will provide enough light to allow you to take the trash out at night & as a bonus the raccoons won’t have to dine in the dark. 😂😂😂
Thanks for the great video, this inspired me to do something similar at the back of our house. I probably added 50 views watching and watching again for pointers.
I just had a paver walkway added from my driveway to the side door on the garage where I park my bins. I no longer dread that area and no longer have to lumber through the dirt with the bins. Such a relief!
Thank you! I have the same problem and I intend to follow your suggestions! When I started to watch your video, I thought that it would be just another unskilled person making a mess out of a project. However, when I saw that you took the time to pull the wire up into the middle of the concrete, I knew that you weren't just an ordinary Joe doing a poor effort at a project. I like what you did and I will be doing something similar to hide my trash bins too! Thank you for inspiring me to go a little bit further and getting them hidden out of site!
