Sorry to hear about your bad experience. I can't see a reason to buy these. I couldn't find US pricing online, but Canadian prices don't look appealing compared to Japanese brands.
very nice video. I bought a small inflatable and I am lost about the outboard I should buy. Can you recommend Hidea? is it good quality? I am bit confused about the high prices of the Japanese engines and I am looking for another choice. thank you
@@boatingsibbingandwandering3262 The only website that I found for Hidea offered a only 6-month warranty. I have a Honda and a Tohatsu which both came with a 5 YEAR warranty. I couldn't even locate a US dealership for Hidea. Hidea might be a decent motor and company, but I wouldn't risk my money on one. There's nothing "childish" about stating facts.
Most all advanced mercury outboards along with many other are made in China.I have one and love it. Could buy 3 name brand for what i paid for it. The last guy i met that ran them down, had a mercury on his boat. i ask him to check it. ASSEMBLED in China. So Funny
