Hi Eric, very informative video. Really enjoyed it. Always wondered how to take care of gaps when not gluing the pieces together and getting rid of the seam line. Also want to thank you for helping me with my 3D printing projects. Best wishes always, Al De Pasquale.

I really like your channel. I've learned a lot about painting 3D printed sculptures from it. I want to ask you a question: which 3D printer are you currently using? I’m looking to buy a new 3D resin printer and was wondering if you could give me some advice.

@@kalanya1231 thanks appreciate the feedback. I have an Anycubic Mono X and just received a Elegoo Saturn 3 for review which will be coming up in the next few weeks. Personally I've never had any issues with my Anycubic but some people do, especially with customer service. Elegoo on the other hand has excellent customer service and great reliable products. There's all different machines/types depending on your needs.. such as the size you're looking to print. But the Saturn series is very popular among printers. In the end it comes down to price and size. But I really like Anycubic or Elegoo.. those would be good starting machines.

This was such a great video. Thanks for how thoroughly you explain everything. Was wondering if you had any tips for using your stamp method to repair texture sanded away to remove a layer line or imperfection on the print that isn't at a joint. I was thinking about trying to use aves, plus the hot glue stamp, to create little flat layer of epoxy to stamp the texture on. Any pointers? Thanks again. I love your channel.
@itsallthingsart
@itsallthingsart 2 месяца назад
@@zaandaman yes that's exactly the method (not just for gaps). You would put down a layer of Aves and push the stamp into it to make an impression of the texture. Just let the Aves sit for a little bit.. there's certain periods of working time that are better than others.. it's extremely soft when first mixed.. as it hardens over the next hour it becomes better to sculpt with. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
