Sea of Thieves PvP doesn't always have to involve your ship or to have any shots fired at all. Sometimes players bring their own ancient gunpowder barrels onto their ship, sometimes you need to bring your own. It's always worth it just to see the mega keg explosion in the end.

Mega Kegs on ships will forever be my favorite mechanic in this game. Nothing like other players enjoying themselves on the seas..... AND THEN BOOM 😂

I had a stronghold keg on my boat that I forgot to sell, me and a friend were nearly done with the legend of the veil, something hit the boat from the top where the keg was. Needless to say the boat sunk as we tried swimming back

I was in a treasury for 10 minutes, and in that time, an entire galleon crew had tucked themselves in the pile of chests on my bowsprit. It was honestly quite mortifying because they used my own ship to sell all of the loot I had gotten. For only 1 hour it actually wasn't that much, only totalling to about 100k without an emissary, but it made me extremely paranoid from that point on about tuckers.

Every time I do a shrine, I always sell anything I have beforehand because I expect to be sunk while I'm down there. And if I am, I wait to use the mermaid for my loot until I bring my ship back and gather it all

Imagine hiding on a ship after they do huge loot runs like athenas or something and then on their way to an outpost you encounter the shrouded ghost, that would be a sad time to blow up that keg...

Along with 2 friends I recently used a rowboat to sneak 9 normal kegs onto a brig that was stopped at a shrine. When they got back to the ship the milkman revealed a special delivery.

Those kegs saved your life. With the explosion damage, if they didn't knock you back towards the ship you would have landed in the shallows and died.

at one point my crew had one of our guys bring a stronghold keg up into a sloop's mast while it was above a siren shrine to blow it up as soon as they got the treasure up. We got attacked by another ship so he had to mermaid back and leave the keg there. Wonder if they ever found it. Also in this one the mermaid kept moving because they kept moving their ship towards it. When the ship gets too close the mermaid moves.

Yep, I post a mix of old and new stuff. I record all my sea of thieves sessions and keep what I think is entertaining. I basically just work on the content I think is going to be most entertaining as a priority, not chronological order.
