I bought the 30-inch version of this bench, with the leather ergo seat, based mostly on this video. It's been nearly a year. The quality of the bench, and of the service from Piano Works, have lived up to all of the expectations set here. I'm so grateful for the information you shared. Thank you.
Great info on ergonomic design. I propped the back legs up about a half inch on my bench to get the idea how it feels. Nice improvement immediately in posture. Mine was always migrating from ok to bad while playing. Update: just ordered the 30" ergo leather version. Very nice phone sales. Delivered in 3 days. Love it, nothing to add, sooo impressed! Once you start using it, you can see it’s worth every penny. Rock solid construction..period. Again, thanks to yourself and Josh for the reviews.
It's hard for me to maintain proper posture when sitting at the piano for protracted periods of time. The wedge shape design in the Hidrau helps and I can't imagine using anything else at this time.
Thank you for the video David. Was great to see the footprint and size when compared to your other bench (which is similar to the one I have). Will definitely keep the bench in mind if I feel the need to upgrade. So far mine has worked well, but it may need replaced if more of my family begins to play and want an easier way to adjust the bench height.
The footprints and weight are very similar. The Hidrau bench is a bit wider than the Jansen Petite artist bench. Jansen is 13x21" while the Hidrau is 13x26". I wouldn't mind if the Hidrau bench was a bit narrower like the Jansen. I have a slender bottom. 🙂
They both feel totally different. I like the Hidrau because it promotes good posture. I get less fatigued sitting for long durations on it compared to regular benches.
@@Comfort_One_Another Customer Service is excellent. Just got off the phone with them and ordered the 26 ergo leather. I just bought the Jensen petite 3 weeks ago and it is hurting my lower back. Now I must sell it at a loss :-( Hopefully, this bench will help.
I'm interested in buying a new piano bench to replace my 40€ off brand one, for my new Schimmel C121 coming soon. I'm really unsure which one to buy, what are the advantages of a capitone seat instead of regular one?
