When Shinobu was just a child, her sister Kanae was killed by another demon and, for revenge, she decided to find who killed her. Unlucky she fell in a trap and Kagaya (the demon king) transformed her in a demon.
𝗕𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝘁:
She use a particular poison that she made herself when she was still a human and it would help her to kill the demon, whe Kagaya give her his blood, she injected her poison thinking it'll kill him. Now, as you can see in the video, her body is full of that strange design that imply the use of poison. The venom kill humans and doesn't harm demons anymore, she inject it using some sinbolic butterflies.
𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻:
Her clothes are similar to a kimono, but there are some parts that remind the wings of a butterfly.
𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:
She still tease Giyuu, but in a bad way: her personality is ruder than before and, since she doesn't have to copy her sister's personality, she's like a tsundere. The only people that she likes are Mitsuri and Rengoku because they're more friendly.
