High above Lugano Lake, Switzerland/Italy: Monte Bolgia delivers breath-taking views!

Join me on this hike that begins at the Village of Bre above the city of Lugano on Lugano Lake. Tip-toe back and forth with me while we straddle the border between Switzerland and Italy as we hike or climb? to the 6000 foot summit of Monte Bolgia. Have a fortifying glass of wine at the Monte Bolla hut! Monte Bre and this summit with their southern exposure in the italian speaking Canton of Ticino are known as the sunniest mountain top in Switzerland!

Can’t wait to go to Switzerland! What an incredible view ! The walk on your trail made me feel like I was on this climb as well. Excellent footage of the summit, sky and water below. I applaud your physical endurance and knowledge of the flora and fauna around you. Spectacular!

Best part here for you is you can visit this same village and see same view by taking a funicular to a restaurant on a nearby summit!

@natureatyourdoor it will be a dream come true, but life is throwing a curve ball, and it is a matter to see the world through those who are willing to share the beauty that we are blessed with. Sometimes, we are blind and don't see what is in front of us. But we will put it on our bucket list. Love your nature videos.

Frank. I wish I still had my Cessna. I could really show you around. I sold it 5 years ago. I had a little over400 hrs of flying. Mostly in Alaska. I haven't been up since then. It got very expensive for average. Gas and maintenance. God bless teacher. Your aswome

Hi Frank. From Pennsylvania student Jeff. I would be very happy to show you around Pennsylvania game lands. You can plug your camper in in our driveway. I need to find out our alternate work schedule. We work 4 10 hrs days and have 3 day weekends. And the weather would be better. I would be happy to show you around.
