The Colorado high country is my backyard and having the right gear is super important plus packing right with a buddy can go a long way. The wild weather and temperature changes can catch the best of us out. Plus, it is always fun finding a reason to pick up some new toys to make life easier on the trail

should come do no altitude camping... coastal south texas... 15 feet off sea level lol... gets all the way down to 95° degrees sometimes. just avoid all the snakes and scorpions and coyotes and border trash and it's usually kinda fun!

At that altitude maybe it would be a good idea to have an o2 tank for an emergency. Required in military aircraft over 10,000 ft.

Never realized just how much prep it takes to go high. Lol, I barely get above sea level most days. Arrrgh, I need another trip out west, haha. Looking like a great trip . I have one of your tents . Just a couple questions . Can you leave the aircore mattress inflated when you close it ? Also what do you do with the tension pole in the bump out when closing ? I was having trouble with the tent fabric getting caught in the slider . Free sprite advised me to disconnect it before closing . Thanks

Hey! I like to deflate my mattress all the way each morning when I keep pillows and blankets inside. Makes closing it much easier and when I close the tension rod, I shorten it all the way and just let the rain fly bar push it out of the way. The more you set it up and break it down the easier it gets 🤘🏼

What size fridge do you have? I purchased the Dometix CFX75 Dual Zone and I think I got it too big. I should have got a smaller unit. I was planning to put on back seat of my Ram but may use it on bed instead.

An old mountaineering trick for dealing with altitude issues; is to pack some Viagra with you. It will thin the blood flow letting your heart work easier and will help you through the altitude.
