I don't even play Rust anymore, i still watch these though, it's interesting and informative.

kidnaping, handcuffing, and slow death using radiation i'm 100% sure who ever wants these in the game isn't reaching heaven

I think the radioactive water should have a toxic effect where more exposure deals more damage over time, a slow killing sprinkler trap would be hilarious

What's the point in this new revolver when there's already a tier 2 Python with the same damage etc but higher fire rate? I'm guessing it'll be further up in the tech-tree than the Python?

the high cal revolver should've been some form of 50cal, either the RSH-12 or one of the .500 mag. we don't need another t2 weapon, something on the desolate T3 tech tree would've been nice.

ok the "high caliber" revolver really looks like it should be shooting 5.56 ammo. it even spews out of the revolver when reloading at 1:28. that would be quite fun

rust really is such a fantastic game and company. they literally just stay out of major controversy, no wierd company things, strange takes, no nothing. just just keep grinding and addin on to the game. most games can learn from this. really, its amazing. im glad its rust doing it

I have been yelling for years about the lack of optimization in Rust. Now that they have actually started optimizing I feel better about new stuff entering the game.

New revolver is 100% going to be T1 before release, or they need to massively buff the damage. Pythons are already cheap to craft, fire faster, and also T2

idk if its just becuase its still in testing but the shell casings the high caliber revolver ejects are the 5.56 casings. So we might actually get a high caliber revolver rather than a worse python.

I want Pintel mounted weapons for base defence, bonus for accuracy and recoil maybe even an ammo reserve bonus (belt fed ak?) possibly add an armour plate for protection or high powered spotlight.

The only problem with all this is that the rock changes mean custom maps will likely be screwed. The same thing happened like 2 years ago when they changed rocks back then.

Radioactive water damaging the carrier is such a cool idea. Keep working on the nature and make new animals. Squirrels, a super rare fox that goves a rare fox hat, seals on the shores of ice and maybe a rare penguin. A rare plant a rare bird with cool sounds. Icecream as food. A cooler fire that you can put actual pieces of wood on for max immersion and cosiness. And you can grill a hog on top of it which gives a boost to learning in the workbench because of hogh morale and overall feeling great

I wouldn't mind seeing an old-school siege rocket launcher like in age of empires 3. The propane tank could be a component for it. Large slow-moving rocket may be targetable to the sam, but high damage. C4 damge, but with the spread of the normal rocket. Could be a module for a car frame.

excited for the floor "wallpaper". combined with the new rocks its gonna be hella hard to find where my bunker is located. I mean they could always just carry a hammer and figure out which floor is armored, but what raider carries a hammer.

How to commit a new war crime in Rust! Step 1: Take radioactive metal, place in automated large furnace. Step 2: Metal gets sucked into pipe and deposited into clan base. Step 3: Clan's metal store becomes radioactive and makes it so they can barely respawn. Step 4: Clan base gets abandoned due to high levels of radiation. Step 5: Profit!

I love that they keep adding new and exciting stuff into a game I love.

This game has gotten much more complex over the years, but we still only have square and triangle foundations. It'd be cool to see a new type of building block be added and to watch the builders go crazy with new base designs

The high caliber revolver (HCR) should be shooting the rifle rounds with a cylinder that long and with those spent cartridges. Also, it kinda bugs me that there is no animations "yet" for the hammer and cylinder, I really hope they plan on adding those. Here's my 2 cents for balancing between the HCR and Python: First, keep the fire rate about where it is, if not a little slower for HCR. Second, increase the damage from 55 to 60 or 65 for HCR. Third, swap the ammo from pistol to rifle for HCR. Forth, decrease the round capacity from 6 to 5 and change the cylinder model to resemble 5 round instead of 6 round capacity. (Or to decrease extra work, write in the item description "As told by the old horse herders (or horse F***ers), you keep the first chamber empty - something about blowing off your leg?). Explanation: old revolvers were not "drop safe" and would discharge a round if something hit or slammed the hammer hard enough. Fifth, make the HCR a tier 2 and change the python to tier 3 or uncraftable (If python is made uncraftable, increase the damage to 60). Sixth, increase the range and accuracy of the HCR to match half of the stats for the SAR. Final, Increase the damage drop-off the further the round is shot to prevent another SAP sniper situation.

Siege weapons we need: Trebuchet for long range raiding Catapult for short range aoe splash damage Battering ram to take down external high walls and gates Greek fire thrower to counter these siege weapons from range or aoe deny enemies.

The high caliber revolver is obviously still in testing. It looks like they have just mimiced the code of the python except for fire rate. Give it some time. Edit: i really hope they make the radioactive sprinkler water deal a lot of damage. The opportunity for trap bases/automatic raid defenses sound so fun

I like that they are adding small things, they aren’t game changing and that’s good. If every update was game changing then we wouldn’t have the game rust it would be something different. Instead we get these small things that add depth and opportunities. 9/10 u won’t ever use some of this stuff but that 1 time it comes in handy, it’ll be cool and that’s what matters. Having small things here and there that are like the details in a big painting that you don’t see but can gush over when u get close enough

radioactive water will have 0 impact other than maybe driving around in a water truck filling up people's water barrels and poisoning their farm. another example of the devs adding something neat/fun but then crippling any potential it has

Trap base but its only a trap because everything inside it is highly radioactive lol
