this guy is the real motivation for Motovloggers. Most of guys started Motovlogging and when they reached 1 Lakh subscriber mark they switched to lifestyle vlogging and did something else....But @OGGYF still is the same lowkey guy.Be like this sir. It helps a lot for KTM users , thank you so much , I don't own one but my frnd does and I took his RC 200 for a day (my bike was on shed) i took a 60km ride , and it was noon when I returned his bike and it was super heated (thankfully did not die on the way) , this video will surely help his motorcycle reduce heating , I will surely suggest this video to him

Have the same bike. On a really hot wheather egine temp. jumps even to 80% until leather H, some 2-3 lines more than yours. Is that ok? I also can't see if the ventilator rotates or not?

Thanks from the UK, running about 1 bar too hot in the display. Will clean my radiator and remove the shroud when I strip it down over winter.

Road grime from the front tire is a real thing. And not to mention other dust and debris. An easy recurring fix to always keep the radiator clean would be to request your weekly wash guy to run the microfiber on the guard and and pressure wash.

That and there's a mud flap for the front fender which the dukes received that the rc didn't. If there's a way to slap that on, it would make life a lot easier too.

What about removing the thermostat cause thats the most restrictive part of the cooling system..only down side would be cold starts will take longer in the winters

Have seen a lot of people do that but they haven't reported a considerable difference in the heat management. Have you tried that out yourself?

Oggy F nope..i have a dominar which doesn’t have any heating problems. But since there are is only one downsides to removing the thermostat and even in cold country’s they do it on bikes (250ib did it on his r1) its not a bad idea..maybe even an aftermarket thermostat can help.

Oggy F the stock radiator guard is designed so that alot of air flows and the dirt getting flinged from the wheel doesnot block the radiator since it hits the sides of the wing shaped things

@@AndrewNoronha-cb2gy yup but it restricts more air than it flows. Removing it helped a lot. The aluminum guard provides equal protection and much more airflow.

The Duke 250 comes with the same radiator fan that I originally had on my rc. It's loud but works fine on the 250. Not an issue. If it stops making noise, then there's a problem cause it's not working ✌🏻😊

I don't expect any appreciable diffrence, and it will happen again and again, spent some money on best quality coolant, indian ktm dont give the coolant what is recommended exactly for these engines. Buy on amazon, Motorex G48 coolant 1L for 7k. Thank me later

Not clear on how a radiator guard helps with better thermal management

Doesn't directly help with better thermal management. It protects the radiator from damage, allowing the radiator to keep it's shape and let air pass through.... this model allows more air to flow through the radiator than the stock plastic guard.
