You guys haven't been paying attention. The harbor isn't ANYTHING like it was.... Ever hear of the Boston Harbor cleanup. Deer Island, MWRA, etc. that's what 3.8 Billion dollars will buy. Why do you think the seaport, Charlestown, Chelsea & Winthrop waterfronts are BOOMING. BUT yeah, just keep on perpetuating the myth.
She said that it looks so high. One would think that after being so many times on the high board, they would get used to the height. And she wouldn’t be diving from a higher diving board than she’s not used to.
You are do brave, cheerful, beautiful and accomplished. If I had had a daughter I would have wanted her to be exactly like you. God bless young lady. You are an inspiration and a role model. 👍❤️
It’s crazy they have like people employed in scuba gear to swarm the person who jumps to make sure they’re ok, that’s how serious and dangerous this is!
Can we just talk about the guy filming her doing some quick steps to get her into the shot again right to the edge? I wouldve fainted and fell right after her
I absolutely love how honest you are about your nerves! I love swimming my whole life and part of me always wanted to do this but my fear of heights is literally paralyzing
You don’t want to really jump so you are creating a paralyzing fear of heights so you can say „I can’t jump because I am paralyzed with fear“. You are creating an excuse to feel good about not doing what you really want to do. And just for completeness, I’m struggling with the same issue. I am reading an amazing book about this atm which incorporates the psychology of Alfred Adler
@@mcchicken5039 yeah i helped change gutters when i was 11, i was like 15 feet up no hands on a shaky ladder leaning as far as i could to reach the screws while holding the gutter up lmao. people have no balls
We are so very proud of her here in Canada. This young lady is the epitome of courage, strength and hope. She rises above her own personal issues and does so like a lioness.🙌🏾
I'm not a native but I lived in Charlestown for 2 years in the late 60s & I wouldn't do this. They must have done miracles to clean up the cesspit I remember.
CONGRATULATIONS I will support you when you go to the olympics I totally support u and I’ll watch you on my tv and cheer so the whole neighbourhood hears❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love that there are divers there waiting even though she knows what she’s doing. I come across her videos all the time they give me so anxiety but I can’t help but to watch her do these beautiful dives but I love the fact that there are divers there waiting just in case Continue have any safe dives love you’re the one person that gives me anxiety that I’m OK with 😂❤
@@KeepinYouUp07 it's seriously bad.. .. there is a reason you don't see people from Boston swimming in it.. down the road, less than a mile away is the Charles River which dumps into Boston Harbor. Several years ago, governor Weld announced that the water was NOT POLLUTED. He jumped in and paddled around for a few minutes and got out... A few days later- he was hospitalized with a nasty infection of ?????? The locals grinned in silence.. 🤣
@@Pattys1967 oh sorry Karen, something tells me you are most likely not from the area. Didn't mean to insult your bathwater.. have a dandy day stinky! 😊
@@killiancarolan4781 I don’t know if this is what you mean but I want to clarify that it isn’t some remedy, like applying an ointment to the injured area, it is basically skin safe tape(unless sensitive to adhesive) that acts like a brace or a wrap would to support the injured area so it does the same a brace would which is alleviate pain by supporting the injured area
I love how you can tell that the camera man was also feeling weak in the knees when Molly said “look over the edge”. The hesitation was just relatable 😂
Hello Molly. Just a quick message to tell you that I really like all your videos. You are always in a good mood. You are our champion and I am very proud of you. do not let go.
You literally bring so much healing with your videos. Doing what you do with concern and doing it to be brave. I WANT TO BE BRAVE LIKE YOU, NEVER LETTING MY ISSUES STOP.ME FROM MY DESIRES. THANK YOU
Wow! Not only is that super high you jumped into Boston water!!! That water is always cold...even in the summer! Amazing job...and kudos to the 4 lifeguards that swam instantly to her once she broke the water. ❤
The water isn’t cold I would be more concerned about how dirty the water is The Harbor is one of the dirtiest of all Harbor and the fish are not safe to eat
You are so gifted…. I’m 52yrs and a lifetime of hurt BUT… I’m so grateful ❤ I treated myself horrendously but I’m now learning to love myself. I’ve been alone because I let go of most people. I’m now at peace and getting stronger each day and I’m loving my big beautiful heart. I’m very strong and self reliant and I’m moving abroad to start a new life. I now choose who I will allow into my life… Thank you God - for always walking by my side ❤❤❤
the safety divers are there bc if she lands wrong and is injured (broken bone or concussion) they need to get to her quick, so they swim to the diver after they land
They definitely need those safety divers. I watched a cliff dive where one guy didn't jump out far enough and clipped the back of his head on his first spin/somersault. He landed mostly okay, but the divers had started moving before he was halfway down. They must be looking at the diver for the whole dive.
Molly your videos are always inspiring and amazing you are truly one magnificent gorgeous athletic angel. Your videos make my day so much better. Inspire me to keep going back to the gym and working out. You are loved and appreciated❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You have a viewer forever. I spent 22yrs. in the military and thought I could handle most situations. After watching this and many of your other dives, I walk away trembling from head to toe. Great stuff.
How do you dispell the fear to jump , I can't believe how brave you are! I get nervous sleeping over with my grandson in the top bunk and ur doing flips from the edge of the sky
How can you be so scared ,yet dive like that without a care in the world …how did you ever even know you could dive from such heights and not get hurt? Have you ever been hurt ? Even when you started ….any belly flops ? Would you pass out from pain if you made a mistake from that height? You such an amazing diver/ young lady 👏👏👏
I love how real you are, being honest with your fears yet staying brave. Being realistic and mentioning that you could get hurt but still performing these amazing dives! I wish I can just do one simple flip!
Ain’t NO WAY I’d be doing that lol! I was like 11 years old and jumped off the “high dive” board at a public pool. When I got up there I was like nope never mind. But they wouldn’t allow you to climb back down. You had to jump. So I started crying. But finally worked the courage up. But never have I done that again and will never again lmao!
I had a similar experience when I was 11. But in my case, I went back down the ladder. Along with a whole line of kids, one waiting on each step of the ladder. Funny thing is, I never felt like I wimped out. More so victorious for not succumbing to the peer pressure at that age
