Yeah it is a bit disappointing how you see all of these awesome looking soldiers marching into Mordor through the black gate in the movies but you never see them again. Even I'm the extended editions of the movies. I understand why, it's because the Easterling army was tasked with attacking Erebor, while Mordor struck Minas Tirith and the Goblin Hordes of the misty mountains struck Rivendell under the supervision of the remaining snow orcs. But at the time when Aragorn leads what's left of the Dol Amrothian and Rohhiric forces to assault the black gate at the very end of the return of the king it would've been dope to at least see a cameo of the Easterlings then. I mean imagine how cool it would be if the Hordes of orcish rabble charged out initially just the same as in the movies, but then at that moment when they're all getting worn down and separated, instead of the scene where Aragorn is approached by a Olog-Hai you instead hear a war horn blow, an Easterling war horn, and the fellowship all look towards the black gate and witness a host of Easterlings of Rhun marching out, all of the survivors that were able to flee the failed siege of Erebor and make it back to mordor for shelter. believing that to be the only place where they'd find safety from the retaliation that is sure to come from the Dwarves and the Men of Dale. So you just see columns of hundreds of Easterlings marching in formation, all armored to the fucking teeth bright golden plate and scale mail armor glinting in the setting sun, chanting some wicked sounding war chant, throwing pots of dragon fire burning men alive in their armor, and in front of their ranks atop massive black war horses are a handful of Black Numenoreans in full Numenorean plate armor fashioned in the style of Saurons very own armor spread about leading the host of Easterlings, and behind them all you can make out the towering hulking figures of dozens of Olog-Hai, specially bred mountain trolls, stronger, more intelligent, more ferocious, and singularly obedient to the dark lord sauron, each one armored with plates and helms of iron so thick and broad that 20 men would be crushed under the weight of a single one, and brandishing crude and wicked weapons of solid iron, twice as long as any horse. And instead of Aragorn having that goofy duel with an Olog-Hai. That just looked kinda goofy and anti climactic in my opinion, it would've been dope that while the easterlings and the Olog-Hai descend upon the exhausted and scattered forces of good, slaughtering them, that the Black Numenorean Leader at the head of them all, presumably the captain of the black gate even, on his massive black war horse draped in plate mail barding, an intimidating ancient Numenorean warrior in full wicked plate armor brandishing an unnaturally long two handed warsword, forged on the ancient island of Numenor thousands of years ago, charges down Aragorn, singling him out and charging straight at the unmounted Aragorn. desperately avoiding getting trampled to death he has to parry a blow so mighty that it drives him to the ground, as he scrambles up once again he gets up just in time to barely deflect another thunderous blow as the Numenorean captain had already swung around for another charge. staggering to his feet, Aragorn is barely able to stand from the sheer might of the blows being rained down on him, he stands to face the Black Numenorean as he wheels about for one more charge, he thunders towards Aragorn, who stands alone against this mighty foe as his forces all around him are being decimated by the heavily armored and organized Easterlings being backed by the monstrous Olog-Hai. With one last swing of his massive blade he strikes at Aragorn and this time Aragorn swings Narsil with all of his might bringing it to meet its ancient wicked brother blade, the incredible force of the massive blade being wielded by the black Numenorean drives Narsil from Aragorns hands and onto the dirt as a deafening high pitched ring emanates throughout the battlefield caused by the sheer force of which Numenorean steel had struck upon Numenorean steel, the sound reaching all the way to the ears of Gandalf and Legolas who both witness Aragorn driven to his knees, separated from Narsil with a Black Numenorean mounted, towering above him raising his blade for the killing blow, but being helpless to do anything as theyre separated by too much fighting. As the wicked black Numenorean slowly raises his long dark blade in triumph savoring his defeat of the pretender king of his people, in that moment with a fearsome cry tearing from his lips, Aragorn leaps up from the ground, whipping out his elvish dagger with blinding speed and in the blink of an eye drving it into the massive horses heart. In its dying cry it rears on its back legs drawing to its full height, nearly As tall as the Olog-Hai around abouts it. It strikes Aragorn hard on the chest sending him clear off his feet and sprawling onto his back, blood coming from his mouth now, while simultaneously throwing its Numenorean rider clear of its back thudding hard to the ground some feet away. Coughing up blood and eyes blurry and unfocused from the devastating blow he had just received he is able to barely set up, with much struggle he rises just in time to see the Black Numenorean also arise from the ground, in an almost otherworldly manner raising straight up, seemingly unaffected by the fall whatsoever, and immediately turning on the spot he begins to stride towarsa Aragorn, hefting his long wide blade with one hand as if it were no more than a butter knife. Aragorn tries and fails to get onto his feet and in his desperation begins stumbling and crawling towards Narsil through the mud, and just as he's about to put his hand around the hilt a massive steel boots slams down on his hand with a sickening crunch. Defeated Aragorn sinks to his knees, staring past the Black Numenorean in front of him witnessing the brutal carnage and slaughter being wreaked upon the brave men he had led here, not a one giving an inch of ground, nor turning to flee, all fighting bravely to the end for him... and for Frodo. And with that thought he looks to Mount Doom. At peace, knowing that he would gladly, and proudly die right here if it was enough to get Frodo into that mountain, and he believed in his heart it would be. He knew it. And at that moment he looked towards the eye of Sauron, who's eye had already been transfixed upon this duel for sometime now, savoring the final moments of this would be king of men, who had dared oppose him. And eye to eye, he locked gazes with the eye of terror itself, and whispered "for frodo", the Balck Numenorean as a twisted form of punishment had decided to pick up Narsil and held it in one hand and his own blade in the other and had them crossed up to Aragorns neck, preparing to cross them, decapitating Aragorn with his very own blade. As he drew back the blades to end Aragrons life, and as Aragorn looked Sauron right in his massive fiery Eye and smiled, the eye began to convulse and wheel around wildly, growing and shrinking spontaneously and emitting a screech so loud and so terribly powerful that Aragorn felt his bones vibrate with the sheer might of it. The Black Numenorean screamed in pain, dropping both blades and going to cover his ears shouting and cursing in pain as he whipped his head back in forth seemingly in fright and pain all at once. Without hesitation Aragorn in one smooth motion pivoted onto his heels catching Narsil in mid air as it fell from the tall Numenoreans hand and spinning to his feet rending the Numenoreans head from his shoulders with one deftly and expertly placed blow. ( then from there it would happen just the same, the eye would explode, destroying bara-dur and the Eaterlings and orcs and trolls would scatter as the ground broke and collapsed around them and mount doom began erupting. I realize this turned into a straight up fan fiction but oh well lol I enjoyed writing it maybe someone will enjoy reading it 😄🤣)

Legolas killed 42 enemies alone in the battle of Helm's Deep, even without a large cavalry with such superhuman archers and his superior melee ability any elf could have killed at least 15 or 20 enemies each, the eastmen alone there were 6,000 against 5,000 elves, the battle would not have lasted long and there would have been no one left from this one,,

with the incredible skills of their archers no rider of the east could have even approached the elves,,

Yeah the non human models aren't perfect yet, but give them time. If they made Third Age Total War so amazing, I can't even imagine what we'll get on this eventually

Maybe its because of Battle for Middle Earth I & II, War of the Ring and the various other Lord of the Rings games but having Orcs, Goblins, Trolls and Dwarves move exactly the same as humans just feels really off, like they are just reskinned humans.

@@alpotenciano4437 they are reskinned humans. Animating 3d models is a huge pain, and I tell you as someone who has modded stuff about Third Age Total War and Divide and Conquer myself. What you see here is a mod of Attila Total War, not a legit LotR game. It's made by fans for fans. Of course there will be issues. Third Age Total War has the animations issue with orcs even today, more than 10 years and no one has made special walking and running animations for the orcs and the goblins yet. The modders deemed it was too huge hustle for too little pay, and as much as I hate it I agree

@@WarAndHistory. Hence why it feels so much better to see a fight of Elves vs Evil Men. I don't know if its there yet but what would be cool for the future is maybe a naval battle or amphibious assault Mithlond Elves vs Corsairs of Umbar.

Facts. You’re talking elves that have had hundreds of years of training, plus super natural reflexes, and strength. It would take overwhelming odds to really defeat them.

Probably in skill level but they Probably all be tired by the time they even killed 20,000, mistakes happen and elves would eventually be routed honestly.
