This is where it all began for me 1985 at school someone passed me an electro 5 tape..40 years gone in a heartbeat..Peace to all the B.Boys out there ❤️
To this very day, proof that an instrumental can be way better than the vocal version. This record has not only stood the test of time, but also like "Cosmic Blast" by Captain Rock, is still on my vinyl wishlist, as they came out B4 I started collecting records & knew I wanted 2B a Mixologist!🤔
Used to hear this on the radio when the Wizard would do his set on WDRQ and later on at WJLB(Both Detroit radio stations) and I would record all the mixes he did. I always thought it was Paul Hardcastle because it had that baseline like his like on Soundchaser. Shit is still dope and is now in my library.
Now up to 21 !- Probably a big corporations looking for a commercial hook for TV...Somehow. the music / beats are good now , to pay the artists nothing and use it free..
The definition of big beat electro! This was the sound track to my high school break circle throw downs on the floor or cardboard duct taped down with nylon jogging suits on.
I didn't think of that. You think it's a TB303 though? Or you talking about the rhythm? I was thinking since they recorded to tape, this could be pitched down too not sure..

You know ild skool style tape editing to make that reverse snare at 4:16 they had to record a spare snare, chop it out, turn the tape clip over then splice it back in!!!
