The German team is German. They may have backgrounds from other countries, but that doesn't mean they can't be German. That's like saying people with parents from two different countries are not allowed to hold citizenship in either, and therefore not play for either national team. That's unfair. Also, there are plenty of people of only German heritage as well.

Turkish families come to germany, they don't have to come there, but they WANT to come there. If there play good turkish players, who want to play for GER, in youth clubs in germany, why GER shouldn't let them play for GER?

I believe the best match in the U-17 Mexico 2011 was Mexico-Germany. Those amazing goals of Julio Gomez and Espericueta were better than a Hollywood-like finish. Simply awesome!

If you are from Germany and speak German, your nationality can be considered German. But you can also be something else too. Look at Ozil he plays for Germany and he is Turkish.

People who have parents from different countries or are citizens in different countries should still be able to play for the national team. Why discriminate against these people? They're just as German as all the others.

You're wrong. Germany is a country that accepts every culture more than many other countries. I'm spending a year in a city next to Mannheim, the "International city" as some call it. Because it's a german city, but half of the city doesn't even come from Germany. The national team totally represents the country : Multiculturalism that brings success. Andnot racism like in France (and it's growing).
