Defenders should just defend all the times,even if it's offside,always defend so you make sure you don't concede because you thought it was offside

@@laura_freigangg Yes and no. You would be surprised how often the referee just let the game play if the defenders keep defending. It's like as long as you defend they consider you agree that the game is fair and there was no foul/Offside, etc.

@@arandombard1197 Interesting take, but most people would interpret the bouncing of the ball action to be complete only when it bounces back up to a catchable height, assuming the bounce has enough power which this did. Thierry Henry tried exactly the same thing versus Blackburn (Brad Friedel) in 2003, the goal was correctly disallowed as this should have been, in my opinion.

Rule states that there have to be 2 defenders between the goal and the player that receives the ball. Most of the the time the keeper is 1 of the 2 defenders but not in that case.
