High jump approaches - slow motion 

Compilation of male and female high jump approach in slow motion.
Good for analysis, you can see the slight differences between jumpers who prefer power jumping (heel planted in the penultimate step to lower hips) and those who use more speed into the bar (penultimate step on ball of foot and accelerating into the bar still).
Mostly the Russian athletes who plant their heel in the penultimate step. Coincidence?
