Having a high net worth does not guarantee someone Singapore citizenship, Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam said on Monday (May 8).
He was speaking in Parliament about recent media reports that high-net-worth individuals were granted Singapore citizenship. The Ministry of Home Affairs has refuted the claims in these reports.

Yup it doesn't guarantee but surely warrants the given utmost priority to be approved. Care to share which high net worth person go rejected?

I am son of a Singapore citizen. My father took citizenship 1958.he died when he visiting india the time i was minor. Its inhuman to avoid me because i born in lives india and my father's death. You must not be ungrateful to some by a harsh rule that deprives me of even an opportunity to apply my right

Among the Singapore ministers how many and who are renting their GCB to high net worth foreigners. They then rent a B&W bungalows and still make money.
