Sitting doesn’t really matter when you’re as good as AG. I’ve seen her sing that good while hanging upside down. But girl was good, but AG is amazing and she’s up there with C.D and M.C and WH. In my opinion. Which I didn’t even realize how good she was until this year when I seen her do imitations of Céline Dion, Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, and she nailed it. She sounded identical to everyone of those singers, and she nailed it. Girl is unbelievably talented.

@@user-bq8ih9ih3b Yes of course it takes effort. But Ariana transition to each note is more clear, sharp and perfect right from the start of the note. The other slightly struggles in between the notes. She ends the note perfectly but is not quite starting off perfectly with a bit of wavering to get the note. Ariana is a pro and has tons of experience doing this day in and day out though. Ariana has better tone too imho. Tone is interpretative, but the rest is not.

When you sit down your posture is dramatically changed and causes not only your heart and adrenaline to normally slow , your diaphragm is either very limited compared to standing up. Not even close to the samething...what they mean is when youre sitting your diaphragm and lungs are more constricted making it harder to belt high notes, when youre standing you have waaay more capacity and control over your diaphragm and lungs so its much easier on singers to sing standing...which is why theyre saying its impressive she did such a good job belting that note while sitting... Ariana was not even walking when hitting that note and heels have absolutely nothing to do with singing😂 Dont get me wrong both are AMAZING singers lol

Of course Ariana does it effortlessly. She has an enormous amount of experience with her career. It's like before and after. You sing for enough people, in enough places, and each time you become a little better at finding your voice. The first girl might be singing that good all on her own, no coaching or big time experience. Just look at the difference in microphone control.

Maybe because it's not her song, she's not a pro... seems to me that they're celebrating something and someone requested her to sing. All y’all need to stop picking on her. She didn’t strain she didn’t even lift her head to try and catch a note. She kept her head straight and let it go. She just has a powerful voice. Not to mention sitting down of course. And I saw someone say sitting isn’t proper technique. Lots of people sit and sing. I do at my shows and let me tell u to hit high notes singing is very difficult. When I sing phantom of the opera and I happen to be sitting. It’s so much harder than standing. With that being said. AMAZING JOB GIRL. would love to watch u sing.

The girl in the bar sounds amazing on the riff, but she’s definitely a different voice type. She’s working hard to belt UP to the notes (mezzo belter) so it’s ever so flat on the very first inflection of the first high note. Whereas Ari is definitely a soprano belter and is floating up on top of the pitch, but it feels more like a soft belt.

Well for me, 1st girl is a winner. Without shadow of the doubt. Why? 1st girl nailed it without expensive vocal class, without training/rehearsal, without music director, without expensive/high quality mic... ... And most of all, she did that great job while sitting having dinner perhaps. Kudos to AnnaGrazia

She had stated that she never had a proper vocal lesson in her life. And to not talk about the first girl, she had no consistency, strain, tension, forced unhealthy tremolo and whiny tone. Standing instead of sitting doesn't change all that

First girl, so much soul behind it. Ariana is just singing it by now, not saying she isn’t good, it’s just she is singing it night after night and the newness has probably warn off by now. But that first girl has that grit and smokiness in her voice that grabbed me.

@@yarsaz4347 I didn’t think she was shoutier, she wouldn’t be able to do the run so smoothly at the end if she was shouting. I just think they are different. Ariana is effortless, she’s got pipes and range outta this world! I probably shouldn’t have said what I did like I did about Ariana like that. That was rude of me. I tend to like the grittier sounding vocals. I also dislike when they pitt people against one another. Both are good, it’s all a matter of personal taste, for me it can depend on my mood in that moment.
