Finally a wacky game that actually looks fun. That game reminds me PS2 era and when they had a lot of fun games unlike now everything is kinda the same thing. I'm definitely buying High On Life
"High on life" is a pretty fitting name. The game looks like a lot of fun and everything about it is like a weird trip. Loved the weird music in the background, the jokes and dialogue, the overall design, how the world reacts when you shoot people and the fact that your character is a gun with the voice of Morty. Can't wait to eat a bunch of edibles and play this lmao
The idea of this mando-styled silent badass with a gun that speaks for him and talking arsenal is not only hilarious, but incredibly creative. Def wanna get my hands on this game.
Love the voice acting, already a huge fan of the voices. Love the improvisational delivery and feel to give seemingly more genuine interactions. It does seem like a shooting game where you're waiting for them to stop talking though. But damn does the gameplay look fun and immediately picks up pace. I'm excited for this, nonetheless. Blew my mind hearing Zach Hadel's voice!
i'd like it more if it weren't so constant and unrelenting. it's like the main thing the game got going for it so they shouldn't overuse it and ruin it. tbh
@yuh it's nothing like conkersbad fur day other then "hahaha crude humor" and with that backwards logic borderlands is like a modern conkers bad fur day.
@@acfan9384 And the combat preview was not one of them. Particularity the dialogue between the gun , knife, and cockroach lady. It was generic, boring, edgy, and they talked way to much,
This looks amazing!! Really hope they can nail it. The dialog is top-notch but maybe the generic enemies need to be a little smarter with their gunplay and attacks.. that's my only complaint.
Finally some cartoony goodness! This seems very fun, and definitely something the gaming community needs right now. New spin on a shooter, nice cartoony yet detailed graphics, hilarious Justin Roiland dialogue, refreshing!
@@TheSCPStudio Stray and it takes two aren't shooters... and they don't really offer any original gameplay mechanics we haven't seen before. Beside portal 2's potato Glados, can you name one of these 'countless' games that has a comedic talking weapon front and centre?
As someone who's been bored with just about every game and genre of game there is, this is the first one I've been genuinely excited for, for a while...Hope it brings me many sleepless nights...
The level on interaction, the writing, the humour, the artistic direction.. honestly it's goty material there, can't wait to try that game it looks amazing
it's so hard to find actual funny games nowadays... glad to see our boys getting some work into a high-profile project, can't wait to burst out laughing with their content.
This is the first time I'm genuinely excited about a game simply because of what the game is and not any hype. This is gonna be awesome, especially if they continue expanding with DLC after the release.
💥 High On Life arrives DECEMBER 13, 2022 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PCs, Day One on Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and via Xbox Cloud Gaming! 💥
So here's the official channel's comment (admittedly an advert but still...) with a few likes and no gushing fans using the word "finally" or asking dumb questions. Something's not adding up and I'm too sober to work it out. No shade on the devs, the game looks fine. This is just a whole weird... thing.
Please tell the developers we wish they'd franchise these types of games! The vibe is there, graphics are amazing, and has that dark humor we all love from rick & morty and Solar Opposites. We are here for ALL of it!
So glad they got Michael cusack and zach hadel voice acting. Also this reminds me of them mobile game ads where they play the game bad on purpose so more people download the game and play
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head.
The atmosphere and artstyle look amazing but just little stuff like when you get out into the hubworld how none of the NPC’s move have me thinking that this game still needs a lot of work still in areas.
