Whenever Matt has some cars he needs moving off the forecourt because they’ve been there too long, he uploads one of these videos. 😂😂 Nice video still as always
The best thing about RU-vid premium is being able to skip through the onslaught of Car Vertical ads. Is there anybody remaining on the earth who enjoys car content that hasn’t heard of them?
Hey Matt, I can't believe you still have the AMG C Class, we came to see it a couple of months ago and its a great looking car and came with free sunglasses lol, only reason we didnt go for it is the guy in the office offered just 11k for our 67 reg Gla premium sport manual with 48k on the clock and merc fsh, he didnt even look at the car, we got 13k for it else where, the GLA needed no work and sold 3 days later at Inchcape merc for 16k, your guy needs put the book down and look at the part exchanges on offer.
I was a casual watcher of your videos, but then I checked out the cars you have for sale on your website. Some of your descriptions had me in tears, and I thought, making me laugh like that, that's got to be worth the price of a RU-vid 'follow'. So here I am. 🙂
I SO wish you were in South Africa. I love your honesty and knowledge and straightforward reviews. I feel it's something very rarely found with 2nd hand dealerships. And I love it that you prefer originality...I can't agree more.
Great vid. I'm a careful buyer and hate buying cars so I'll be keeping a close eye on your garage when I'm ready for my next one. Be either a Disco sport or a Merc estate. Keep up the good work.
Hi Matt, you have a great inventory and very well presented. Personally a Cat N car of that age would not bother me at all. BTW, you are not the only one who massively over spends. Today I just bought a Peugeot Partner van from 2010 for €4000,- It did not pass its TUV (German MOT) last year, so the owner decided to spend €6000,- at the main dealer to rectify everything that was wrong with it and throw in a timing belt for good measure (All the invoices come with the car). No sooner did he do that and the 5th gear would not stay in position. So he decided to replace the synchro-mesh. When that did not work, he threw the the car out and a start-up Polish second hand trader (a very nice and professional guy) bought it, and had it fixed in Poland (I live near the border, so I guess he did not massively overspend). I test drove it and the car drives really well (which you may hope with the repair costs more than 1.5 times the sticker price). I checked it with Car Vertical and tried to use your promo code. But sadly that does not work outside the UK. Then for some reason it could not retrieve the millage data, so I got the report for free.
Love your showroom Matt, you really do prep the cars very well indeed, you deserve every penny that you make. Love your videos and all the best to you.
Barney the dinosaur purple 😂😂😂😂 great vid Matt, my 4 series had new drive shaft and relevant components so all good, time for a detail and some new REG plates 😎👍
@@ResevoirGod I have the CX3 which is the crossover model of the Mazda 2. I can confirm they are great cars. Highly underrated and great value for money. Lord knows why they arent more popular.
@@danecowan678 I'm guessing you are seeing JDM imports with the Demio name. The only model that was badged Demio outside Japan was the DW generation. Second, third and fourth gen were badged Mazda 2 outside their home market. Incidentally the Demio name was dropped on JDM models from 2019.
If you’ve ever wondered what Hank Scorpio got up to after taking over the east coast of America, he’s selling second hand motors in Cheshire! 😂 I do like the warts and all approach to your videos, it’s quite refreshing that you document the good and the bad, and don’t try to come across as smelling of roses the whole time like so many other channels. Thanks for the content!
A relatively well off older gentlemen who’s health declines so they hardly drive it; but it gets serviced as per schedule because that’s what they’ve always done - plenty of those about!
@@GregsthenameYes I am sure Matt looked at the maintenance log aswell. But 1000 miles a year is really low, did the previous owner not go to a yearly holliday? The thing is why go for a diesel engine then. Here in the Netherlands you pay a lot more tax with a diesel.
@@Gregsthename Yes, My (relatively well off) grandmother had a car with very low milage as well but she bought a new Fiat Panda Automatic instead of an expensive Audi Q5...
an idea for a video: install a camera on the other side of the street or on top of the garage and show us a timelapse video of moving all of these cars around to get one from the far end out for a client :D
Matt, when you present a car and open the door, make a shot of the cabin inside of the car. Like to see what equipment it has, or future buyers. Cheers
Simple way of getting rid of cars that have been standing around for months Lower the price. Surely a small profit and onto the next is better than waiting months & months for a far bigger profit. As long as its profit.
So nice to see the 718 in the garage. We are on Cayman #3, the first was a 987 6 cylinder and the last two 718s. Although a 4 cylinder misses out on a bit of the theatrics and sound of the 6, it’s a much better daily. More flexible, quicker and nimble. Get a manual though if this is the replacement for the AMG, it’s a sweet box. Our current 718 has just hit 104K klm and has been pretty much trouble free :)
I've always had two main problems with category cars. You'll have to sell it one day, and being on the register is going to put a lot of people off. Unless it's stupid cheap, I just don't think it's worth getting involved with one. But my main worry is how it would perform if involved in another accident. Would all the safety kit work properly, and would it crumple as designed. Fifth Gear did a crash test on an accident damaged and repaired Focus some years ago, and the result was terrifying. I just wouldn't feel comfortable in one.
Hi Matt. My 2p's worth regarding writing off cars with minimal damage. It's often not because of the cost of the repair compared to the value of the car but the cost of a like for like new hire car whilst the damaged car is being repaired.
I bet you love it when someone says I'll have a test drive of the one in the middle of the yard, but I need it now... Yeah, just hang on I'll move ten cars out of the way. 😅
Do a video on the Tucson, not many relevant reviews around for those, I borrowed one for a few weeks back in 2009, didnt have very high expectations, but I remember that I really liked driving it.
Amazing Matt have you a encyclopedia in your head cause there seems not to be a car your not clued up on I love how you can tell there origins and what should be and shouldn't be just uncanny!!!!
Great stock Matt, may be there is no interest in the Audi A8 because of the combination of fuel consuption, road tax, insurane and price. 11 year old Audi for nearly £16K and £415 road tax, add the insurance increase last 12 months and you have the answer why is still unsold. Quick example: My car insurance: £250 per year in 2022/2023. £350 per year 2023/2024. £520 for 2024/2025. Same car, same home address, same work, acquired more years of NCB, but still price goes up. The Porsche looks great. Cheers.
I’m not in the market for a car at present though find your channel fascinating especially your insight into previous owners its hilarious great stuff blue 💯 Ps may see you in February 2025 trying to trade my Avensis.. I know you secretly love 🤔😂
When you watch car repair shops in the USA they are always saying that the petrol Kia motors are not lasting long they seem to have a lot with broken engines.
I’ve had Kia carens sedona both 7 seats both great picanto no power but good they can be decent cars mine where and got them all at good price which makes the better lol but really good family cars and reliable
@@AndrewDaley-lr9qgNo, the other one is a scam account advertising unsavoury things. They steal other peoples comments on the basis that they don’t notice their pfp…
Kinda comical when I see the price of cars for sale after being offered 7300 for my 2013 44k fsh like new evoque by several online buyers. I enjoy this walk around your stock.
I was driving through Marple 2 weeks ago and came to a set of lights on red. Who was facing me but you Matt, in your white Range Rover! I was just about to toot, flash and wave madly when I realised you would have no idea why I was doing that! I was more surprised how excited my wife was! Must pop by some time....
