Makhana Chana Bhel, Imli Chutney, Coriander Spicy Chutney
Just whipped up a delicious Makhana Chana Bhel with Imli ki mithi chutney and coriander spicy chutney! 🌿 Makhana (fox nuts) are not only tasty but also packed with health benefits. They are a great source of protein, fiber, and antioxidants. Just remember to roast them nicely on medium flame to remove excess moisture.

Ingredients :
150 gm Tamarind (Imli)
1/4 cup Jaggery Powder (Gur Powder / alternatively Sugar can be used)
1/2 tsp Dry Ginger Powder (Sonth Powder)
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds Powder (Jeera Powder)
Salt to taste
2 tbs Raw Peanuts
3 Green Chillies
1 big bunch of Coriander (with stems)
1/2 Lemon Juice
2-3 Ice Cubes
2 tsp Oil
100 gm Makhana
Roasted Chana and Peanuts
Boiled Potato
Chopped Onion, Raw Mango & Coriander
Pomegranate Seeds

Method :
First let's make Mithi Chutney
Heat a pan and add Imli Pupl (soak 150 gm imli in hot water and squeeze with hand)
Add 1/4 cup Jaggery Powder
Add 1/2 tsp Sonth Powder
Add 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
Add 1/2 tsp Jeera Powder
Add Salt to taste
Cook up to 2 boils until it turns thicker
Transfer it in a bowl
Further to make Tikhi Chutney, take 2 tbs Raw Peanuts in a mixer jar
Add 3 Green Chillies
Add Salt to taste
Churn it and add 1 big bunch of Coriander (with stems)
Add 1/2 Lemon Juice
Add 2-3 Ice Cubes and again churn it smooth
Transfer it in a bowl
Further add 2 tsp Oil in the pan
Add 100 gm Makhana
Roast them on low to medium heat
Roast until it turns slight golden-brown
Add roasted Chana and Peanuts, roast a little
And transfer it in a mixing bowl to cool down
Add boiled Potato, Onion, Raw Mango & Coriander
Add some Pomegranate Seeds
Mix it well and add Tikhi & Mithi Chutney
Give it a good mix and serve on a plate
Garnish with Sev, Coriander & Pomegranate Seeds
