With the CrazyMill Cool family Mikron Tool offers a series of roughing and finishing tungsten carbide cutters, from 0.2 - 8.00 mm (.008” - .315”). With these mill cutters, Mikron Tool has achieved a quantum leap in the milling of stainless steel, titanium, chromium cobalt alloys, and super alloys. Three versions of cylindrical micro-cutters (sharp-edged with minimum protection phase of 45°) or with corner radius are available. If the standard milling sizes are not suitable, it is possible to request customized products.
The video shows the strength of the solid carbide end mill CrazyMill Cool Z2 with integrated cooling is the milling of grooves, pockets, and walls with regard to cutting speeds, ap, performance, service life, and surface quality. The tool combines HSC (high-speed cutting) and HPC (high-performance cutting), thus becoming an HSPC (high-speed performance cutting) milling tool. Thanks to the special tungsten carbide used, the geometry, the coating and especially the coolant supply through the shank, which ensures perfect cooling on the cutting edges and removes chips effectively from the work area, the milling cutter impresses with long tool life as well as excellent surface quality. • CrazyMill Cool Square, type B - milling depth 3 x d, cutting length 1.5 x d; through shank coolant, Z = 2
• CrazyMill Cool Square, type C - milling depth 5 x d, cutting length 1.5 x d; through shank coolant, Z = 2
• CrazyMill Cool Corner radius, type A - milling depth 1.5 x d, cutting length 1.5 x d; through shank coolant, Z = 2
• CrazyMill Cool Corner radius, type B - milling depth 3 x d, cutting length 1.5 x d; through shank coolant, Z = 2
• CrazyMill Cool Corner radius, type C - milling depth 5 x d, t cutting length 1.5 x d; hrough shank coolant, Z = 2
