So I picked up a new Yoshi exhaust and decided to give a good high quality sound clip for you guys. Enjoy! note The bike was warmed up before I started it in the video, hence no need for choke.
I would highly recommend the Yoshi in this video. It's probably the best bang for your buck. Any pipe you put on the GS can only do so much. Guys I ride with tell me that when we ride together it sounds a lot better (beefier) than the stock that was on there. It's a fairly simple installation too, noting that no matter what pipe you get you're gonna need to cut the old one off. I just cut mine with a handheld reciprocating saw with a steel blade.
iceman I guess it all depends on your definition of loudness, and if the pitch of the sound makes any difference. It's not very loud and (at least on the GS500) it doesn't compare to the loud pop of a chopper. But it still gives it a nice "bassy" pop that you hear from bigger sport bikes. When I'm just cruising around at 3-4K it's certainly audible, but not overbearing, if that's what you mean.
