Man kann diese Firma sehr empfehlen! Ich habe hier eine schwarze 12" Scheibe mit 20 Minuten pro Seite schneiden lassen. Es wird hier sogar angeboten, das Material online zukommen zu lassen, was den nervigen Postweg erspart. Mit dem richtigen Plattenspieler ist die Abspielqualität sehr gut.
I am wanting to buy a turntable for my dad's 60th in a few months for his massive collection from the 60s and 70s. I am just starting to get into the world of high end audio and audiophile etc.... i do have a budget and although i plan to buy a marantz cd transport and amp (poss the 6005 range) with some floor standers like kef/kplisch/monitor audio/dali.....i do plan to get a large portion of my cd collection bought on vinyl. Could you tell me what would be the best turntable to buy? I have seen some really funky designs but they are made by the likes of theron etc and cost $5 - $30k !!!! errrr not now lol i only have around $600-650...because i will obvs need an amp and speakers. I am a bit fussy on quality, i do like design too but in your opinion what would you recommend? I have heard good reviews about audio techniques but they look too much like dj equipment. Pro - ject? i think their products are built flimsy unless you pay over $1500-2k... not sure what to do!
In welchen Ausgangsmaterial muss die Musik vorliegen? Hintergrund meiner Frage ist, ich würde gerne aus diversen nordkoreanischen Musikstücken eine LP zusammenstellen, diese liegen aber allesamt nur als mp3-Format vor, für viele audiophile also ein Gräul, und da ist die Frage, werden mp3 aus Ausgangsmaterial angenommen, oder müssen es Bandaufnahmen oder andere Hochwertige Aufnahmen sein?
I doubt that a video with compressed audio could really tell you something about the quality. What you need is a sample record which you might order....
Interessant, man kann also Pegel und Vorschub automatisch einstellen lassen, indem man die gewünschte Laufzeit vorgibt. Eine andere Frage, wenn man bei der Musik die Bässe vorher abgesenkt hat, kann man auch dies dem Gerät sagen, dass es die Laufzeit verlängert (z. B. bei Sprachplatten, die keinerlei Frequenzen unter 100 Hz haben müssen)?
Der Pegel ist nicht automatisch mit dem Vorschub gekoppelt. Der Pegel orientiert sich aber auch an Spielzeit und RPM. Wenn Bässe vorher abgesenkt wurden, werden andere Frequenzen halt im Verhältnis lauter überspielt, bis der zu Spielzeit und Geschwindigkeit festgelegte Maximalpegel erreicht sind.
In einem Video sah ich einen historischen Cutter, bei dem man die maximale Laufzeit einstellte, dabei änderte sich der Vorschub und die Skala auf dem Aussteuerungsmesser. Ansonsten waren ja die k-tel, Arcade und Super 20 Platten Vinyl LPs mit 30 bis 40 Minuten pro Seite und entweder reduziertem Pegel oder reduzierter Basswiedergabe.
Am meistens war die K-Tel 20-Hits Album-schallplatten umgefähr 30 Minuten pro Seite. Niemals warden sie mehre als 30 minuten, manchmal kurzer, umgefähr 25-28 Minuten! In English: Mostly the K-Tel 20-Hits album records were around 30 minutes per side, never more than that, sometimes shorter, around 25 to 28 minutes! I'll say the rest of what I have to say in English. Quite often, K-Tel and other labels would edit down a particularly long(to them) track if it was originally more than 3 minutes, 30 seconds to fit the 30-minute limit. Such was their habit in squeezing 20 popular current hits or nostalgic favourites into an album.

the needle follows the groove left right up down (left right for mono) two pick ups (magnet) react to the vibration generating an electrical signal in two channels, it's a stereo signal, a preamp EQs and amplifies the signal. Now it can be treated like any other analog audio. Physical constraints affect the amplitude frequency and phase of the signal. Explained well enough here www.vinylrecorder.com/stereo.html
What would you record from? The problem is that you don't have an analogue master or a live band. At best, you could get a vinyl copy of a digital file!
+Not Norm... That's all well and good if you just want a 78 for your jukebox, but if you are looking to capture what is lost via digital, you have to start with an analogue source.
Sorry, but blancs of unknown source and material could damage the cutting stylus. The blanc is not what makes the order expensive. It´s the amount of recording time!
Unless you live in Germany, or close, they wont sell you a machine. I talked to him on the phone today and basically told me he wont sell me a machine.
