Plans to build a $700 million mixed-use project in Bricktown could include high-rise apartment buildings, a luxury hotel, affordable housing, and retail space.
0:20 Let me get this straight. This mega structure being built by a private party has an estimated cost of 700 million. The NBA arena being built has an estimated cost of 900 million. I think it's time for taxpayers paying for the NBA arena to start asking questions.
i want to know what is going to go in where the current ok county jail is right now?? after they finish the new jail and tear down the old one, what is next??
Come to Wichita and build a 600 foot tower. Wichita never gets s**t. Why won't anybody build here? I love Devon Tower and I have been at the Vast several times and It has great food and drinks and an awesome view. I wish Devon Tower would come here and build a 600 feet tower here. At least that sounds more sensible than building a 1,750 foot 134 story in downtown OKC.
@@billycornish6646 Our combined statistical area has over 800,000 people. I have been to Tulsa on numerous occasions and driving there is easier than driving in Wichita. Tulsa's cost of livng is lower than in Wichita.
@@billycornish6646Go to Des Moines, IA, it has a lot less people downtown and is small in comparison to Wichita. Yet, Des Moines, IA has a tower that is 44 stories and 630 feet tall and it has been there since 1991.
You sound salty, OKC has a bright future where it’s going to be the size of Dallas in 50 years maybe even bigger. Wichita is a nice city but it will never be a giant like OKC is going to be in the future.
Tall Buildings are not a “california” thing. Texas has been building skyscrapers for decades. OKC should join in the fun and make our region more of an economic power house than it already is.
