Fighter's hard counter rangers with the right stats. 90% DR. Barbarians and rogues can still kill with weakpoint + thrust and whatever barbarians' is that ignores 75%.
The amount of time it still took him to die tells me max damage reduction needs a bit of a nerf. Man was immobile taking heatshots and hits from 2 red goblins for like 35 seconds.
each arrow was probably hitting for 5-10 dmg max due to not having any +strength or phys dmg on his build, im more surprised he didnt die to poison faster since full plate gets deleted by magic dmg
12:15 all that guy's gear was god tier, especially the helmet. a phys reduction hounskul goes for like hundreds of g, even a blue one. can't believe you didn't take it!
i had a cleric set last playtest that gave me about 75-80% phys dmg reduction and with prot shrine i had 98%, i could sit there and tank 5 felling axe hits from a juiced barb before i even had to swing lol they nerfed phys reduction quite a bit but you can still get like %60ish reduction.
Brooo that fighter with physical damage reduction, you gotta make sure to take all the pieces of gear they are easily worth 300-400g each piece with them high rolls
The juiced fighter took more arrows than I've ever seen anyone take. You made some really good plays in that fight, better than I would have done, but the amount of time you took to loot gave me anxiety.
archers can put the quiver up their ass they already have a trap which is simply the easiest way to kill someone in this game especially with the added skill check
idk about you but for me the stash is small enough where I remember what's in it, also you realistically don't need more than 2 stacks of arrows unless you are going bosses
the ranger trap is just beyond the most unfair thing in the game. the sheer fact that it can be hidden under mobs is just super dumb. imo ranger default kit shouldnt start with any traps, the cost from vendor for them should be about 100 per. the skill check required should be locked behind having to take a perk and the time it takes to dismantle should be slightly less overall. Though to make the perk more appealing they should also make it so that if someone gets trapped it has a longer disarm time as well. Currently stepping on a trap is basically an auto death unless your 95% damage reduction fighter and even then if ranger takes pen shot over rations it still kills the fighter. this becomes a crazy problem when your talking about losing expensive gear due to cheap costing traps that a ranger can flood his inventory with.
100% agreed a lot of creators say the same thing, rangers can already do 100+ damage from any range they feel comfortable and then the brain dead trap to top it off. absolutely despise this class due to its overwhelming map control and ability to stop any team from entering a room.
ngl man your awareness is pretty low, idk if you don't have your volume up high enough or not using an equalizer but that rogue was 100% audibly there and visibly there at 5:56 - 5:57. you can hear his feet and see his purple blade. you can then even see his stealth cloud after you shut the door at 5:59 -6:00.
getting tired of throwing hands with a barbarian and getting 1 tapped in the head sigh. ( rouge ) Back stab, ambush, and poison with rupture hit him like 6 times. Gets 1 tapped.
They did nerf it in normal goblin caves but it should stay strong in high roller, it's meant to be challenging. Most of the players in high roller have memorized AI attack patterns and don't get hit anyway.

lmao the cope on wizard being op, hes gotten the most changes out of any class and has been nerfed a ton and almost everyone good agrees hes balanced rn, other than zap still scaling a little to high for the cast time/damage. bard on the other hand is by far the most busted class rn able to stack up to 12 buffs at a time, cast songs through walls/floors and the ability to have some insane damage output @@zgd1486
