It was a crowded time for game shows in syndicated markets, with Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! sort of comprising the "A" tier for game shows, followed by The $100,000 Pyramid, Win, Lose or Draw, Love Connection, and Doug Davidson's Hollywood Squares belonging in the "B" tier, then The New Newlywed Game and The All-New Dating Game sort of found in the "C" tier, leaving lowly High Rollers as much of a chance at succeeding as winning the Big Numbers round, along with fellow D-tier shows Matchmaker, the original Lingo, the new Truth or Consequences, and later that season, Yahtzee.
