This scene actually make you realize that if DxD turn down the oppai joke a little bit especially during battle it will be legendary because for me one thing that make DxD a little bit a turn down is when they make oppai joke either as an attack or techniques because this fight along with sairaorg vs issei and any fight that doesn't include oppai joke is actually amazing and pretty good.
Like azazel said, issei technique (dress break, pailingual, etc) are like a joke but terrifying in practice. Sure it's comedic, but not only is it unexpected but it's hard if not outright impossible to counter for most of his (mostly female) opponent. I can agree though for the powerup requiring breast like when he achieves balance breaker or trianna. That kinda ruin the mood a little, well it does diffuse the situation from going too serious though.

@@quervo151 Not disagreeing about the animation style. I really preferred the sharper style myself, but to be fair it was the creator themself that fired the old animation company. That person didn't like what the company had done with the story or the animation style as they wanted to manga style (softer/rounder faces). However, they looked past that up until the company changed the story for the 3rd season, I think anyways. Anyways, that's why the new animation company used the manga style for the animations and retconned pretty much the last half of the previous season.

For Issei, Asia could've been the one girl he would consider to be more important than Rias. She's the first girl that accepts him for who he is, to see her killed switched something inside of him
Technically Rias does accept Issei first however if u read the LN u realize that Issei is protective over Asia because she is like a sister he never had, not to mention he still regrets getting her involved with him and the others
My problem with this anime is the lack of romance and excess of oppai and jokes. You can't bring it seriously. I thought Issei would quit being a pervert and have a crush on Asia only and date her, and become a true gentleman

I love how this anime relies in fanservice for the first half then slowly shifts to plot and fanservice. It's a good mix by the last season and I actually am one of the only people who prolly actually wants to see Issei become rlly friggin powerful.
Theoretically, Issei is the most powerful character in High School DxD realm. His Sacred Gear, Boosted Gear, can always recharge energy regardless of Issei's stamina (depending on Issei's willpower) and the energy is pure. The boosted energy can also be delivered to anyone, as long as the recipient are able to withstand or make use of them. You can say that Issei is a walking power plant.
I strongly disagree. The plot is average. The MC is one of the worst I've ever seen. The girls are reduced to the role of pom pom-girls. (and so on) The only thing that makes it popular is the fan-service. I prefer much more reading well written fanfictions than reading the official LN.
What really hit home was the scene where he's just calling to Asia and talking about how they'll win the school's sports stuff. Everyone crying amplified the scene, but Issei just sounding *broken* was what did it for me. Needless to say, I was in full support of his rampage. I don't fault him for going berserk. That's the risk of doing what he did, and I'm glad he came out of it. Proof that this show has plot as well as "plot"
I agree most say it has no plot then this sence comes a long what they got to say it has a plot and If I'm being honest I only got Into the anime because of the nudey but after a while I was like holly shit plot this is why I like this anime plus music 10/10

yea and its one of the reasons why season 4 took such a hit. they messed up this scene. season 4 did well enough to make a season 5 but it also got enough rage that they might not make a season 5. as of now season 5 is still not confirmed. the changing of studios and this scene may have killed the anime.
