@@nencrows_4580 I mean, they wrote themselves into a corner when they messed up the worldbuilding in season 1, it wasn't going to get into the later arcs anyway.

@@MarcelJ. They didn't mess up the world building though. What was said was accurate at the time till the truth was told to them. That's not bad world building. We call that plot. What messed up the story was season 3 doing something different at one of the worst points. The reason being, that the parts they changed are important for later.

@@nencrows_4580 Season 3 went off rails, if season 3 didn't have shit animation it could have (maybe) saved it. However, Rias, a devil heiress, telling Issei that there are only 3 surviving devil pillars is a serious failure in worldbuilding.

It was the original animation studio fucked up season 3 by doing their own ending so everything after episode 6 of season 3 is not canon Which is why season 4 picks up where episode 6 of season 3 ends and continue on which is entirely canon People don't know that or don't pay attention to that detail

this anime was one of my favourite, it has too much fanservice but i like its backstories specially that 3 way war. the studio change made me completely stop this anime from my favourite list as a ruined anime, it just felt so different that even the story got dumb with the art style.

Funny enough the latest season, none of that stuff actually even happens in the manga or light novel, studio changing is more of a sales issue not really something to completely turn down ot especially when that's the way the characters look in the actual manga

I just recently watched this the show is very entertaining it has drama good fighting good story good plot I wasn’t expecting to like it but it’s rlly good just waiting for season 5 gotta see issei and the bae rias I just can’t wait for the new season but even sometimes I watch all the seasons over again cause I can’t get enough of it it’s rlly good got a special place in my heart it’s top 10 in my book maybe top 8 or 5
