I just don't understand this episode: The guy's initial assault was justified because the gay man kept coming at him after a solid "no." He didn't get hurt because he was gay, he was hurt because of his actions and not understanding consent. The guy was sexually assaulted, why didn't they arrest the gay guy and the two cheerleaders for that? They've arrested people for doing similar things in past episodes, why do these people get a pass?

SA , that's what the cheerleader did to the guy. He should be charged, as well as the whole team. And the officers of SVU? Great job treating a SA victim like a perp . I remember this case. If I remember correctly, the guy dropped the charges in the end, but his life was still ruined. I also think something happened to him that had caused that reaction in the first place. The coach and several team members were arrested and one, who had helped take these guys down, told Amaro that he was quitting the team. The boy revealed that he's actually gay and he can't bring himself to spend the next however many years in the closet.
