Bob is just saying there is a two "on the board." That means it could be a part of any of the three prices. The kid wasn't wrong or "retarded." It is all luck at that point, any number guessed would have as good of chance of being correct as any other number.

No. Everyone is misunderstanding this. What he literall said is, there is another 2 "on the board." All three prices are on the board. The 2 could just as easily have been a part of the third price. Bob is just explaining even though there is already a two on the board, every number, 0-9, still has a spot up there.

I am not too familiar with that show, but isn't it about who is closest to the price who wins? Meaning if she is last she should always tip either 1 dollar lower or higher than the lowest/highest guess and she would have a 50/50 unless an exact value was guessed.

Random Stuff It’s sorta like that. Whoever is closer does win but your bid does not count if you go over. So if there was a guess for $600, $601, &750, and $1. But the actual price was $585 then all bids above would be eliminated and the person that said $1 would win.
