SPOILERS: For the First Movie
Okay, so yes, I love High School Musical. It's a very cute movie, you have to admit that! Though it seems sort of weird and out of place with all the Austin and Shakespeare vids that have populated my account as of late. But oh well! I wanted to try something new (haha.).
This vid is no where near perfect, though it was interesting to make! I took the video where the two actually sing the song in the movie and put clips of the rest of the movie in with it cutting between the two of them. The clips were hard to work with because in the beginning I wanted to cut out the stupid monitor completely. Sorry, for a night that monitor was the bane of my existance. Towards the end my problem was that the interaction between Troy and Gabriella was just too cute I had a hard time cutting some of it out! But oh well. That's all I'm going to say. I wasn't going to post this one (it was going to go in a folder with my other vids that I hang onto just in case I ever feel brave enough to post them) but I figure eh, why not? I hope you enjoy it a little at least.

+Stephie F yeah when i came out in early 2006 i was in 3rd grade lol January of 2006 i was in 3rd grade now I'm 18 graduated class of 2015!! and a newly college freshmen gonna turn 19 in early October yeah I'm really old lol... i honestly miss being a kid... i barley even made it my first official year of adulthood i wish instead of graduating high school earlier this year i was graduating kindergarten so i could be like class of 2027 or somewhere around there ha love your childhood kids!!!

If you seriously think that this movie was or is a Disney classic, you are very much mistaken, unless you're perpetually 14 years old. Still better than the sequels though, so it's a classic on that regard.

One of the coolest things about the internet is the sense of community that you get. Anyone could get the dvd and watch it alone at home. But coming here and watching these videos literally uploaded when we were all kids and talking about how it impacted our childhoods is so cool. HSM will always be "our generation's thing". I know that most of you, even 50 years from now, will still remember every word to these songs. It's bittersweet, because time does go by very fast, but on the other hand, it brings a smile to my face to know that so many of us, no matter where we're from, had these little things in common in our childhoods and that we still like to look back on them :)

In all honesty its really sad how much disney has changed. Im almost done with highschool and I still remember all through elementary and middle school loving disney and the tv series they had on then. Stuff like this!! Whats on now is nowhere near as good what was on even just 7 years ago. But thats just my opinion, u guys might have different ones.

northernstudent I remeber going over to my grandma's house to watch the 1st movie(did not have cable tv till like 2008) but thne by the time the 2ed and the 3rd came on we had cable and i have been watching every single movie ever since then now i have all the soundtracks to thme and when i am getting ready for my graduation i will be listening to the music in my room and watching all the movies when i get home after a long night of staying up all night from the all night grad party
