High-speed data connector for trailer operation based on SAE J3008 

ERICH JAEGER presents the design study for a High Speed ISOBUS Connector for heavy-duty applications in agricultural machinery concerning the connection between tractors and implements - with possible further applications for commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The connector system is based on the proven standard SAE J3008 and accords to AEF requirements. It is watertight according to IP6K9K and IP67 and allows for data transmission rates of up to 1Gbit/s - for example for the transmission of digital camera signals.
