I’m not buying this person was fleeing. They were in a pack of non speeding cars when they went past the officer and must have pulled out to pass vehicles just after the officer went by. The officer must have switched to the rear antenna as they were passing other cars because none of the approaching vehicles set off that high of a tone, the high tone was not accompanied by approaching vehicles, and it only lasted for a second. Thus, it’s highly unlikely a driver hit with the rear antenna would have known an officer had turned around and was in pursuit. Unless they were held up by traffic, it’s highly unlikely 112 mph for that distance would have gotten the job done on a fleeing subject. When you don’t even hit the brakes to turn around until someone doing 80 or so is past you, it’s going to take while to catch them. If they were fleeing, it would have taken a lot longer than what we saw. Thumbs down from me. I suggest a less deceptive title next time.

What was this officer thinking?? How many lives did he just put in jeopardy?? What gives him the right?? Poor decision!! That road is bad enough without his "professional training" I don't care what training you have, you can't bring a family back from the dead after you kill them. Notice the passing on double yellow. This officer needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for a stunt like that. He should be painfully aware of the number of lives lost to head on collisions on that stretch of road. Does he think that he is immune to being human? He has brilliantly succeded in creating much more danger than he mitigated. How many lives need to be lost before these officers understand the consequences of behavior like this. This video appears to be a brag of sorts by this officer. Kind of proves 2 sets of laws. One for thee and another for me. It's a sad day when John Q Citizen cares more about public safety than those whose primary responsibility is PUBLIC SAFETY.. Definitely defines justice as just us.
