Where is the 'tea' though?😅 Anyway, an afternoon tea like that can definitely save me the efforts of dinner😂

I'm in the US, could you please clarify what a hamper is? Kind of embarrassing, but I googled it and I think we call it a food/gift basket. The only time I've ever heard of a hamper is in regards to a clothes hamper which is for dirty clothes usually in my house. I love language 💛💛💛

@@That1CoolChick You're right! A hamper is essentially the same as what you would call a gift basket. That can have almost any type of gift in it and is something that's often seen as a prize in a raffle (not sure if this is the same phrase in the US).

Depends on the location, but Fortnum & Mason's teas are quite expensive. 62 euro per person for high tea (60/pp for afternoon tea that Jeanelle is having)

Yes. In my country it's similar to a buffet in a sense and costs around 20$ which is alot for a developing country.

It really depends where you go and what city you're in. I've had lovely afternoon teas for £10-15 but they can also be super expensive like the one shown here. Your best bet for a reasonably priced but delicious one is a small cafe or tea room.

Varies by country- you can get good quality for less in many places- as well as by quality of the products and service. Britain is expensive in general, and London the most expensive place in the country by a wide margin, and Fortnum and Mason is one of the premium places for this kind of service even within London, though maybe not on the same level as the really grand hotels like the Savoy or Ritz, I'm not sure. If you're in Canada, the US, or Australia, say, I suggest looking at middle upper end hotels that might offer this- it's probably offered at pricier hotels, in major cities, especially the more traditional kinds of hotels, and probably pricy but not necessarily London-pricy. In Ottawa one can have high tea at Zoe's, the bar-lounge of the Chateau Laurier Hotel. It's been a while, but it didn't break the bank for a party of 3.
