This band is pure gold! I hear so many great influences in their music f.e. Oasis, The Cult, Joy Division, Madchester bands and many more..... and whats the best, they are playing at hardcore punk festival. What a great connection. Everything makes sense here. Cheers from Czech republic! Hope to see them live one day!
The greatest music seems to appear during the shittiest of times, when people need to get things off their chest and really mean what they are doing. This performance proves this hypothesis.
Yeah, fantastic band full of energy and attitude. Biggest surprise to me was to see crowd surfing is still allowed in Manchester! Good for you, as it's pretty much band in London venues! Too much bleedin' Elf an Safey down here!
So many mates been hyping this band but i fking HATE that 90s manc vibe, stone roses all that shite, does my head in. It's just a tone I hate so when I first heard a few tracks that were more kinda that way leaning I just thought 'Nah not for me' Since watching this set though Im fking DOWN. So good. Watched it like 5 times in last 4/5 days. Don't feel like that punkness/aggression comes through 'as much' on records (which I also now love) but seeing here defo won me over and can appreciate what they're doing. Copped that new record. Might buy some Kangol.
My mate insisted we see these guys on the day - he had a full on itinerary of bands I needed to be introduced to - and hands down, the second the singer said "what's up ya dickheads!?" I was hooked. I even put Basterd Inside down on my spotify as it was being played live. Mark my words, these boys will end up big one-day, went to show some support for them at All Points East this August and even with a small crowd to start with, they ended up filling the area by the end with sheer stage power.
Brother, I saw em again after this in October, got my records signed, I've never been so sure and ready for a band to blow up, seeing them go from 1,000 listens on Spotify to half a million has pecked my head, they've just announced a us tour and trsmt in Scotland, they deserve it
These guys are soooooo awesome - hope the break across the pond. Their energy is top notch and their live sound has no degradation. Love the new album (Blending 2022)- sounds exactly like this performance (the songs they previewed) and songs off of No Sense No Feelings sound even tighter live now than when they recorded them studio. Good work mates (what's up dickheads) - keep fighting.
