In this video, I used one MOT with different numbers of capacitors. Secondary side current was measured with a clamp on ammeter. Measurements were taken with no caps, and each time a cap was added up to four caps. Primary side current was measured with no cap, and with five caps. The MOT was run unballasted and was free to draw whatever current it desired from the 120V mains. It did get quite warm. The capacitors were recovered from microwave ovens.
