Surprised the sound chip in the dragon lasted until 10v funny how the motor then suffers one of two fates (a) the motor melts it's gearbox and then sounds like a jet engine spooling up or (b) the motor pops.

Apparently they were a promotional product made for a Japanese instant udon noodle brand called Donbei. About 10000 units were made and they were issued as a prize in a sweepstakes competition back in 2001, to celebrate Donbei's 25th anniversary.

It was distributed in a past campaign by Nissin, a Japanese food manufacturer that produces and sells cup ramen and other products. It is not for sale and is difficult to obtain. I obtained it at a flea market because I live in Japan.
