I love how it was the SAME people from episode 1 kidnapping the SAME girl on the SAME street and then taking her to the SAME building to be saved by the SAME person... talk about a callback!
And she made the SAME stupid decision of walking at night alone. Like even with a weapon, it's still not wise, especially looking at their circumstances.

haters gonna hate but this anime is peak anime. solid and stable animation (doesnt make 2 first episodes with 90% of budget to clickbait scam people to watch and then drop quality) very good and unpredictable writing peak comedy... amazing sound design.... this is top ties content

Man The Eminence in Shadow gotta be the best Light Novel adaptation could be like it managed to pull the uniqueness of the Light Novel on the manga/anime without it being 1:1 like the LN would be Like when you read different media it feels different, Cid are more crazy on the LN, funny on the manga with the facial expressions, cool and edgy on the anime (Not to mention the WN version, on the early developments of his slime suit he literally mixed human meat into the slime)
Not just that, I don't know if you know this, but eminence in shadow is the 2nd light novel anime adaptation that sticks to atleast 95% of the source material, the only other light novel anime that pulled that off was 86😊
You know which did more? Or what added more? Cause it felt like 86 added more to the "feels" while eminence added more scenes or animations to the comedy.

That just shows how powerful cid is. This is the first time we saw him use atomic at full power and he nearly nuked the solar system 😂. He literally had to put a barrier around everything including the earth.
Majority of light novels don't get a proper adaptation, only 86,mushoku tensei, that time I got reincarnated as a slime, re zero, no game no life and now officially eminence in shadow are the best light novel anime adaptations yet
This is why this has become my second favorite Isekai. The lore drops and worldbuilding this episode went crazy. Notice how they stated that the power of Demon Lord diablos was from their world, but the vessel it was channeled through was from the first realm. Which is mostly likely earth. The vessel being Aurora. This would indicate that Aurora was initially from Earth, but transported to this world and tortured and experimented on and turned into Diablos. This would explain why her little illusion inside Claire's head resembled a Japanese school infirmary.

Either way it should help buy more time for the LN author given that if the movie comes out in 2024, then if we're lucky we may get the next season in 2025. Buy that time the author may even be done with volume 8.
@@iamhungey12345We're only halfway through Volume 4. We have, like, the other half of Volume 4 for the movie, and volume 5 and 6 for a whole season. And if they don't rush it as much as season 2, we could get 20 episodes, just like season 1. They skipped a lot of shit in season 2, such as the more detailed fights, Gettan's backstory, and some other small stuff. Elizabeth's fight was much more detailed, for example, and Gettan wasn't beaten as fast, Cid had to struggle a little in phase 1, and in phase 2 he got pissed and went on a bloody rampage to show Gettan that providence isn't gonna beat eminence. Plenty of really cool shit skipped. I really hope they don't rush volume 5 and 6 like that when season 3 comes out.
Eminence in shadow always knows how to outdo itself. Never in any other anime have I seen a monster get diced up, the monster summoner thrown into space and hit with a giant space nuke

This man cid got isekaied twice because remember when he originally died he was reborn into the New World. Technically he got Isekaied card once because he died in his old world reborn into a New World. They got transported from his New World back into his old world.
For anyone wondering the last scenes were a bit in the future as it will be explained in the movie I believe,as I read the manga and this is not what happens at the beginning of the return to earth arc ,so yeah see you next time.

It depends on what you're looking for, someone's favorite anime can be hated by someone else All three (Re Zero, Mushoku, Kage no Jitsuryoukusha) are great in their own ways, especially in the isekai category where most of those are trash In my opinion, I prefer Mushoku and Re Zero compared to Kage no Jitsuryoukusha, but it's still a great show for me (especially when I want something less "heavy" than the other two)

so when sid got hit be truck kun, what remained of him got isekaied and his soul got reincarnated. at the same time, a fuck ton of magic flowed in since og earth was basically a vaccum in terms of magic energy. and since the time he was born to now, earth was getting used to magic and developed new technology and shit with the help of magic. this is my observation
it has something to do that Mortred is talking about. travelling on other realms. came back to his own reality. cant wait for season3. I admire the author bcoz somehow he also believes on other godly power w/c seeded human in the earth.
She was recalling correctly btw... It wasnt Mushoku Tensei. What she was recalling was when Cid's sister Claire was possessed by Aurora. This was during the fight with the vampire queen. Aurora and Claire were in an earth highschool for like 5 minutes.
i noticed ring Rose had broke, so unless shadow garden gets something or makes with same or similar power they can`t be reunited, although i hope they wont just ditch them, maybe they can leave Rose in that world and 7 shadows come to earth where Cid is or something, or maybe those 2 planets/realms will merge, now i`m even more hyped for next seasons. they can expand so much more on this
So the lore of this world it's pretty much Conjunction of the Spheres of The Witcher, all magic, monsters, elves ecc come from others dimensions when they collide .

As a light novel reader of both Mushoku tensei and eminence in shadow, it's safe to say eminence in shadow season 2 was way more enjoyable than mushoku tensei season 2

Like for me, it did not capture the emotions, especially v7. But idk I’m being petty but I wished they had Yuiko Ōhara did both opening and ending cus her singing matches mushoku tensei.
