Agreed. Remanufactured ECMs are hits or misses. Eventually, they put out inconsistent signals, especially when I try to get the car SMOG'd. I've gone through many. Too bad GM does not make new ECMs.

I took the original engine up to 525k miles. This is the 5th GM crate engine. Original transmission and differential, never been rebuilt.

So you’ve gone through 4 motors in 250,000???

@@MrCORVETTE1990wow 525k miles is insane. How come the crate motors don’t last as long? Are they higher power?

Failed ZZ4 - 40k, L31 - 160K, SP385 1st - 20k, SP385 2nd - 40k. I hope this new L31 gets me to 1 million miles!
