I finished RDR2 today and I finally get why people praise this game so much. It's an amazing game. Even if someone doesn't like it, is they can't disagree on the fact that it is well made.

@@hezshot964 well there’s last of us remake 2022, God of war Ragnarok, elden ring is on the same level. Same with the demon souls remake. There are a few others. But if we are going for best graphics, my favourite is either hades or hi-fi rush. May not be the most visually beautiful, but they look AWESOME!

witcher 3 is goated man, no game comes close to it, all dlc side quests are goated , rdr2 is overrated as comapred to wotcher 3, only main story is great

Red dead isn’t even my personal favorite game but I will say this. There is literally nothing you can say about that game to argue that it isn’t perfect. The attention to detail runs so deep, so much to do even outside of the story, the story is so good and it really connects you to the characters, and the combat is simple but really fun.
@@Jeffrey._A._Steele ye same thing with me I don’t like kind of low scale characters (power wise) like in rdr2. It’s just like real life and nothing really different about the world. But gow is more action based and is very different from the real world
So many people say it isnt high due to being made in 2003 and 2004 but I believe that the Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic games are up there, cause the story is impactful, unexpected, great character developement, ahead of its time, has plot twists as big as there can be, if you do play them you will ask why the saga was never completed, and more than likely you will want more

@@Smithburger I’m guessing your a big fan of the older games, which i respect, as majoras mask is one of my favorites. But to someone who started playing the new games and hasn’t experienced the nostalgia of the old games, it is perhaps younger, totk would have more of a connection with them. I love totk and botw a lot, and I do love the older games too. Also, I do agree, the botw and totk dungeons are not the best, but I do enjoy the concepts for them, take the fire temple, which is a lost Goron city. They could have easily improved it with more things to make it feel more alive. In summary, I agree and also disagree with you.

Even though rdr2 story is arguably better than the Witcher 3. The Witcher 3 isn't the full story just part 3 of some of the story so it makes sense that rdr2 is better in that sense, but the gameplay and open world for such an age gap between both games is astounding. The Witcher 3 still looks amazing to this day and one of its strong points is that you can get lost in the side stories which are in itself are compelling and is something it does way better than rdr2. The gameplay, open world, interaction and detail is so miniscule but the Witcher 3 edges it. I've played rdr2 once I ended up spending 100+hours, the Witcher 3 I've come back to replay for the past 7 years and I have well over 100 hours on it. The Witcher 3 at the time was an accomplishment in gaming and was something never done before. Rdr2 was something we've seen before from rockstar for the past decade but has an immense tense story accompanied with the well polished gameplay rockstar has used for a while. Witcher easily takes it. It's a masterpiece.
RDR2 has far more alive and interactive and reactive world then Witcher 3 Even RDR1 surpasses witcher 3 in that regard as Does Bully RDR2 surpassed both of those games with its open World. Also hand to hand and Horse riding in RDR2 are better then Witcher3.
I have done 5 playthroughs of Both games RDR2 objectivly beats for detail. Also gameplay in Witcher 3 we saw already in Witcher 2. RDR2 feels very differnt 2 RDR1.

@@arturssudmalis5741 I was though. I've played all the games you named, it's the grass, the populated villages. The dark muddy pools and trenches when you reach the barons/witches segment. Its beauty isn't one dimensional, that's what sets it apart from every other game I've played visually. It just hits the nail in every aspect for me now and even all those years ago. Other than Arkham Knight I can't think of another game that aged well visually. Although assassin's Creed unity was stunning I agree.
@@hamzah1325 You basically described medieval setting tho, I would also argue that purely graphic wise not world design wise witcher 2 is better. Also wasnt very satisfying not having a lot of npc models in witcher games, imo something like rdr2 absolutely blows witcher 3 out of window

I will always love last of the us the most, as I grew up playing part one I remember I was to afraid to play the game anymore when u get separated from ellie and (I forget her name don't ask how) and u have to sneak past clickers but I found a save file that is right after that and played on that I never beat the game so like 3 years ago I went back and beat it and I got last of us 2 at launch and played that shit with my friends for weeks

Good thing I gave RDR2 a second chance. I initially got bored and deleted the game, but after retrying I gotta say it is the second best game I've ever played. GTA IV comes out on top for me still though.
i dont understand why nobody talks about mass effect, the entire trilogy so underrated... the first is good even now and was out at the same time as the first the witcher that is now horrible to watch

@@literallyme896 realism does come at the cost of fun though, red dead 2 is probably one of the most realistic games I’ve played but sometimes it could of been more fun if I didn’t spend 50 minutes looting every fucking enemy after a shootout.

@billtimothy2718 honestly the zombies are a little part in this game, the most of the game is ellie and joel for the first one and revenge for the second part. But this game is a masterpiece for me even I agree there's some boring moments in the gunplay.
@@Ihavethehighground69 I like the fast paced gameplay like in Sekiro. Parrying is cool. The DLC bosses are fantastic, and there are a few main game bosses that are fantastic. Gascoine, Gherman, Vicar Amelia. And the atmosphere is unmatched. I get why people don't like this one as I do. I just love the environment.
You shouldn't use a website designed for movies as your frame of reference to explain the quality of a game. Last of Us being one of the highest rated really says all you need to know.
