Being from Bihar and grew up in odisha seriously odisha has one of best and simple street food in India

Never seen this much clear oil I street food.....I am sure these guys are honest

It is true that street side food is always underestimated but when the cook said that food ingredients are also unknown to customers in big restaurants, it really opened my eyes😳🤔🙌

Thanks for the upload.....something I noticed and wish to share..9.20 he offers the first portion of the food he was cooking to the fire..........this seems to be a very ancient practice. I am of Fijian Indian origin, our forefathers were brought to the Fiji Islands from probably the Bihar/UP part of India probably in the 1800s and this practice of offering the first morsel of any fried food to the stove fire has been continued to be practiced.

*I am sharing my odisha journey* I visited odisha in 2015 when I was just 12 years old..., when ever I think about that journey I feel goosebumps..., I styaed in odisha just 3 days..., my train journey to last minute in odisha I enjoyed a lot..., that was the first time I saw a sea..., 5th may 2015 at 8 or 10pm I join the train journey... raat ko kuch dikhai nehi deta... aur nind bhi nehi aa rahi thi fir raat 12 baje pata chala ki kisiko bhi nind nehi aa rahi hai..., then me along my cousins starting to playing cards hum log call bridge khel rahe the...fir khelte khelte raat 2 baaj geye thee fir mai sone chala kab nind aa gayi pata hi nehi chala shubhe 5 baaje nind se utha to hum odisha pouch geye theee...,, 6 baje taak humne hotel book kiya 3 din ke liye.. fir hum sab fresh hue..., aur Jagannath puri dham ke liye rawana hue..mandir mai to bhai itna sukoon mila ki kiya batau... joo bhi mera yea journey padh raha hai usse mai suggest jaroor karunga ki ekdin na ekdin aap puri Jagannath mandir darshan karne ke liye jaroor jaye..., fir humne pura din mandir mai guzara , 3,4 bajje hotel aye aur nahake beach pe chale geye... beach mai bhi bahut maza aya... hum ne fish fry khaye , papdi chat kahye... aur bhi bahit kuch...fir agle din subhe ko 7 baje hum rawana ho geye odisha tour ke liye mujhe sab jageh ki naam yaad nehi hai... lingaraj mandir, nandankanan , udaygiri , dhawalgiri etc. etc. jagah ghuma fir agle din subha hum ne samundar pe bahut maze kiye... aur ussi din hum sham ka train pakad ke wapas kolkata aa geye... kolkata tatha west bengal mai bhi hum bahut ghume... mere 30 din ke journey mai 26 din hum west bengal me hi the... bahut ghuma bahut maze kiye fir wapas mere home state Tripura mai aa gaye... , jaab bhi mai us journey ko yaad karte huu mujhe goosebumps aate hai... what a great journey that was.....

I visited here multiple times , the shop is located at Mochishahi near Head postoffice,puri The Staff there are very humble and happily treat you with all the delicacies , Aloo sabji and puri is too good

The good thing about roadside food open kitchen and you really know that the food is done fresh on the spot,nothing is hidden like wont see in big 5* restaurants and all,,only thing you need to be aware of is that the person serving the dish is not handling money and anything else but the food.the rest is in front of you freshly cooked.
