Vince Carter didnt have suche high vertical but he was crazy athletic for his frame and wingspan if you look at his dunks he took far off. Most of NBA players have 30ish verticals. Vince 43 is right. But some of those on this list seems not right.
That's was Vince standing vertical his running was 46. I used to be obsessed with vertical leaps in high school and would study and research the topic for fun back in the early 2000s. This video combined running verticals and standing verticals,which only confuses people even further.

@@ivanriverajr5012 Exactly, no proof, here is the real proof, MJ is 6'6 or 78 inches tall, the rim is 120 inches tall, that means for MJ to put his head at rim level he needs a 42 inches vertical, that means that for him to be able to have a 48 inches vertical he has to put his jead 6 inches about the rim, there is no one single footage of him having his head that high above the rim just barely above the rim so he had a 45 inches vertical at best from what we can see, the article claiming he had a 48 inches vertical came out 4 years after he retired in 2007.
There is zero proof of that and the taller you get,the lower you jump due to unfavourable joint moments and just bodyweight.Take a look at NBA combine records.

Jordan never jumped his highest during games, you could tell by his facial expressions. Watch someone like Aaron Gordon’s facial expressions, and it’s evident that he damn near gives it his all when leaping.
Where did you get these numbers from ? Harold miner had a higher vertical than 44. Allen iverson has no where near a vertical documented. Spud webb had a 42 inch vertical. And gerald green has way more of a vertical than what said here.
