Gala Viking 650 Fish also makes a beautiful dry boat. Plus if you fish or enjoy more wide open room out back you will love it. It's really what drove me to the Gala over others. Enjoy the boating guys.
i have a DL640 highfield i love it but i'm getting wet a lot in rough sea because the front is going down (plunging) my friends have zodiac pro open 650 and they are dry because of the shape of the hull and tub did your patrol is doing that too or your staying dry inside ( i want to change mine because of that for a patrol ) my friend will stop laughing at me !!!
Hi, the Patrol is supremely dry. I had a 590 and changed it to the Patrol after a test run in one, they are a world apart. The 590 and 640 are excellent boats but they are a little wet in the chop, since having the Patrol I can honestly say I have only ever had a bit of spray on the rear tubes and that was seriously rough day! Get one, you won't be disappointed!!

@@sand_shifter I can’t really give you a comparison to fibreglass rib as I’ve never owned one. I’ve always had Highfield boats. I did test a 6m ribeye and I didn’t really feel much difference, certainly not to justify the extra cost. Obviously you do loose in hull storage with aluminium boats due to the construction. I’ve never dived but I know there are plenty of videos on RU-vid of people who use them a dive boats. Hope that helps.
