This just made my year. I am a quarter Scots on my maternal side...I was adopted at birth and my maternal biological grandpa came and found me as an adult. He passed over to the other side in 2008. He and I used to love listening to traditional Scottish music like this together. This brings back happy memories of that. :)

I'm from the US, I'm 1/2 Scot & 1/2 English. I lean a great deal to my Scottish side, kilt and all. I got to see the Royal Dragoon Guards in Pittsburgh Pa form my birthday many years ago. I sure wish they would come back. I love the sound of pipes!

love you're piping music, so much so it has inspired me to learn the bagpipes. I am now a student at the highland bagpipe centre in Glasgow, started on the chanter at the moment. I have had one lesson and back for 2nd on June 10th. Learned scales my self, but tutor gave me plenty home to learn. Learning the highland cathedral song, got sheet music online, so combining that with the homework. Can't wait until transition to bagpipes, will be great.
