Thank you so much for the response! Really tricky to get the timing of the step and get that double beat in highcut. Exam is on Monday. Wish l had more time.
Bring the right foot up to third aerial, then backstep. Step to the left, extending the left leg to second aerial (low, I'm pretty sure) and bringing it in to third rear aerial directly from the extension (not hopping or anything before). High-cut with the right leg, then perform a "back-front" movement with the left leg.
Repeat going to the right, to the left, then finally to the right again. The last time to the right, though, instead of the "back-front" movement, perform two high-cuts (left then right) finishing at an angle to begin your pivot turn, etc... I apologize for the "non-technical" language - tried to make it seem simpler! Hope this helps! Good luck with your dancing :)
Ive noticed with a lot of american dancers that they dont hold their arm as high in 2nd during the turns...Ive been taught to hold it right above my head lol. And where were the wingcuts in the backstep and travel??? Im dissapointed lol. Nah joking, its a bugger of a step!
