I remember going to see the UK theatrical version in the cinema with a group of friends. We all loved the first film and we were really excited to see the sequel. On the drive home, we were all silent.
Love or hate Highlander II (and I suspect MANY more fall into the latter), it's production history and lasting legacy are fascinating and the stuff of legends. We at least got the awesome Lou Gramm end credits song if nothing else out of it, so it's not a total loss.
How the hell did these two producer’s get to run this movie? It was a bad movie, a bad script, a bad location :( The original, is and always will be the best Movie x
These two producers are the two biggest hacks in Hollywood. I can see why Sam Peckinpah hated working with them during the shoot of the Osterman weekend. But again, Peckinpah hated all producers 😂.
They do a doco on Tango and the losers who put the music behind it chose some salasa which has NOTHING to do with Tango...Argentina is nt in the Caribbean...then, they go for some Flamenco (little do they know Argentina is not Spain)
