Continuing our Highlander pilgrimage. On this day, we stopped at Joe's Bookstore(The Watchers), Desalvo's dojo(Seasons 2 through 5), Canada Park(Revenge is Sweet), the antique store(All of Season 1), and several other locations.
My mom was a HUGE fan of the show when it debuted in 1992. When it would come on she'd always say "I'm watching my boyfriend!" when Adrian Paul was onscreen.
Fantastic! Thank you guys for this video, I’ve been wondering all my life bout what happened to these places where my favorite series were filmed ❤️keep doing these great videos 👏🏼
I think I have 6 of these up so far, with another one on the way. We are heading back in October to catch some more places that we missed, so stay tuned! :)
At 17:49, unfortunately, you're on the wrong side of the building for the stairs where Mara confronts Paul Karros in The Revolutionary. At 20:43, off in the distance, is the correct side of the building for that scene from The Revolutionary.
Richie was driving the T-Bird the other way from the way you were driving. They were driving south to Steveston, while you were driving north into Vancouver. If you went into the Downtown East Side you will find the homeless. They're everywhere, unfortunately. It's very sad.
At 22:08, you are incorrect in saying that the show didn't film inside the Vancouver Art Gallery. Scenes from Season Five's The End of Innocence were filmed inside there (just not in an area where the exhibits are) and on the adjacent grounds.
Canada Place (11:33) was heavily modified and extended in 1999 to accommodate larger cruise liners, so the end of it does not look like it did in the show where Duncan and Reinhardt fought. The sails are still there but the stairs Duncan went down and the Prow restaurant are no longer there.
At 4:41, I'm sorry but you are not in the correct alley for where Duncan and Joe talk for the first time. When you come on my tour, I will show you the correct alley.
These vids are so cool! Great prep for my first Vancouver trip next month. (Good thing Joe's bookstore is a coffee shop now, as I need something for my HL-hating wife to enjoy whilst I'm traipsing about.)
@@captainwesticle1654 Neat-o! I've hit most of the filming sites in Paris proper (including tricking my wife into attending Christmas Eve services at Darius' church), but none outside of the city. I hope you're getting to some of those, too.
@@steveolle628 yup! The ruins from Legacy, and the multitude of chateaus, particularly the one from Starcrossed, are pretty high on the priority list! We'll be renting a car, and hitting as many of them as we can over the course of about 5 days. :)
@@captainwesticle1654 I just finished up all your awesome videos, but I don't recall seeing Joe's Bar in there. Granted, my WiFi has been cutting in and out on me, so maybe it glitched and skipped that part? If you did find and film Joe's, can you please tell me which video I need to re-look at?
@@steveolle628 sadly, Joe's Bar is not an actual location. It was a set that was erected in a parking lot, and was torn down after the show ended. However, Joe's bar in Paris, Le Blue's Bar, is still there, and is on our list of places to visit when we head over there in a couple of weeks. :)
