Laura Jordan was on the box, fall of 1979, Suzi never wore a skirt. If, by Bread has special meaning and specific memories I'll never forget. 'Fall 78- spring 82 were some of the best times in my life. Hearing the music, still feeling the spirit is quite amazing after all these years! This is the first year we went core style, my sophomore year. Cecil was a pill but Larry Zoller always rocked! Thanks for the memories I didn't even know videos we out there.
Surely, that must be Suzi Garrett directing! I am just finding this on yt(stop it!) Kudos to Keith Vance, Ed Zoller. and all the other individuals who tried to make us behave! We did not use instruments of destruction; only musical! BIG LOVE YALL (Sorry Ms Carr and Ms Poitrous) for the bad grammar. c
Notice the "stoic" Xavier Castro on stage right. That guy took his "job" as Drum Major WAY TOO SERIOUSLY! Glad to see he has CHILLED out greatly as an adult. Well, as for Laura Jordan, the less said about her… the better… I was part of this marching band during this performance and few subsequent years. What a most interesting period of my teenage years. "Hail to Highlands…" Indeed! Oh, one more comment, the drum line and their "drum line don't smile" mantra for the yearly panoramic band photo: what a bunch of spineless conformists!!
became the worst school and worst band by '98. I had to quit band it was so bad. Before I came to Highlands I was at Brack, and Brack sounded and looked like this.
